Worst customer service
Pros:

My dad had a heart attack. So we rushed to Corpus & would be arriving very late. I booked & called to inform hotel of our 1am arrival. When we got there at 1am with my small son asleep in the car, MAKAYLA (front desk) said they did not receive payment for our room. I showed her my confirmation but she didn't care. She said we didn't have a room & needed to leave or we would be escorted out! Even though I had my confirmation email, even though I am a Marriot member, even though we called ahead to let them know of our late arrival, even though we had a family emergency, even though we had just driven 3 hours and even though my 5 year old was asleep in the car, MIKAYLA, would not allow us to check in!!! NEVER AGAIN!!

Short doors
Pros:

Very friendly and helpful staff. Daspit it being on the freeway, the room was quiet. The property was clean, but old. Indoor pool and gym. Free breakfast, and parking.

STAY AWAY
Pros:

I travel to Corpus once a month. I’ve stayed here twice in the past 6 months or so. The first time was just ok. There was food and gunk under the sofa when we pulled out the bed; gross but it happens. The second time was intolerable. There were a couple dead roaches in the hall on the way to our room. Fine, they’re dead and just need to be vacuumed up. But then a very much alive roach ran across our bathroom floor. Obviously, I can tolerate a lot, but that put me over the edge. I will NEVER stay here again! So nasty.
