Pros:

Sehr schönes, geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Haus und wunderschöner Garten.
Sehr gutes Essen. Nette, diskrete Bedienung.

Cons:

Leider war es wegen des schlechten Wetters ziemlich kalt in den Zimmern und v.a. auch im Restaurant. Am zweiten Tag wurde im Salon das Cheminée angefeuert, was die Temperatur erträglich machte.

Lieu de paix et reposant si les propriétaires arrivent à honorer la réservation (surbooking)
Pros:

Très bon emplacement, magasins, marché et restaurants a 15 minutes à pieds. Levada et cascade à 5 minutes à pieds. Funchal et machico à 20 minutes en voiture.
Chambre propre et confortable.
Petit déjeuner complet bien que des fruits frais entiers manquent.

Cons:

Surbooking le premier jour de notre réservation (sur un total de 6 jours) qui nous a obligé à trouver une autre nuitée en dernière minute et sans aide des propriétaires.
Manque de place dans la chambre, nécessiterait aussi une commode pour pouvoir poser des affaires.

Le calme et la tranquillité. La nourriture : repas du soir et le petit déjeuner. Très propre et personnel sympathique et serviable.

Cons:

Route pour y aller pas très pratique, il vous faut une bonne voiture plus puissante qu’une Fiat panda (notre cas). Le pique nique est très très simple.
Très mal insonorisée, on entendait la chambre d’en face + la salle à manger d’en bas car nous étions juste au dessus.

L'endroit est très beau. Le jardin est très bien entretenu et les chambres ne sont pas très grande mais très fonctionnels pour 2 personnes. Il y a la possibilité de manger le soir. Le petit-déjeuner est compris et on retrouve ce qu'il y a dans les petits-déjeuner d'hôtel.

Cons:

L'humidité peut vite monter si la clim est éteinte.

Originell eingerichtetes Chalet, sehr freundliches Personal, reichhaltiges Frühstück, sehr gutes Abendessen für das man sich morgens entscheiden kann, Blick in den Garten und die Berge in ruhiger Lage, idealer Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge.

Updated stone cottage w kitchen facilities, extremely quiet, furnished comfortably and eclectically with a mix of modern and antiques, and art. 100% cozy and comfortable. Lovely grounds, great breakfast. A fine dinner and wine are available that are better and kess expensive than heading out in search of, just let them know your preferences from a daily changing menu at least by 5 pm. The weather was absolutely awful while I was there and, to tell the truth, I did not care. The staff was flawless, Beatrizis an absolute star, graciously answered each and every one of my questions cheerfully, If I was her I'm not sure I could help but roll my eyes at me, my questions were that stupid, she had to go to the cottage and point out a light switch directly outside a room for me🙄🙄😂😬

I'd nitpick if I could, but can't think of a single thing.
