Important information:

As an essential security measure to protect both our guests and our hotel guests may be required to present valid identification upon check in.
All guests under the age of 18 years old must be accompanied by adult.
In the situation where a reservation was booked online, and the guest cannot provide valid ID or that ID states that the guest is under the age of 18 years of age, the hotel has right to refuse admission.
As a security measure and to prevent any potential fraudulent transactions the credit card given at the time of booking must be the same card that is produced at the time of check in with the appropriate guests name on the card.

Group T&Cs : When booking 3 rooms or more or reservation of over 5 nights , different policies will apply and the customer will be contacted by the hotel with more information.
10% Non-Refundable Deposit is to be paid within 5 days of the reservation date. The balance to be paid 60 days prior to arrival.
If the above payment terms are not met , The hotel reserves the right to cancel of the booking.

No-Show Policy:
All guests who do not arrive on their scheduled date of arrival are considered No-Shows.
No-show reservations will be canceled and charged for the first night, as per the Talbot Collection booking policy.
Once a room is released due to a no-show, there is no obligation to hold it for subsequent nights.
If a guest arrives the following day, the booking may be reinstated at management discretion.Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.
Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
A deposit may be required at the property.

Absolutely loved your staff in the bistro, there was a slight over site on seating location but your staff especially the manager English man, don't have his name went over and above to composate us and made sure staff were attentive during dinner, on this basis when pool is back up and running we will certainly be back to stay.

Cons:

We stayed in this hotel on the basis of the pool in working order, especially with a 6 year old . Unfortunately, we were not made aware that the pool was closed when we booked online, and travelled over an hour and half and still was not told at desk when checking in a note was left in the room , not very professional.

Amazing hotel and with superb people
Pros:

I had a lovely stay at the Talbot. I was travelling on my own and everyone made me feel so welcome. The setting is gorgeous with views over the mountains and everything was so clean around the hotel including my room which was spotless.
The shower was brilliant and I had a comfortable bed with a lovely view.

I went to the bar for a drink and Dean was serving-he was lovely and chatty and his team seemed to all get on really well together and it was a lovely atmosphere in the bar.
The breakfast was amazing! I would highly recommend. Loads to choose from and eggs freshly cooked. I had a delicious omelette.
Geraldine could not have been nicer and looked after me so well at breakfast-she welcomed me with a big smile and was so friendly to everyone. I also had Robyn look after me who was great too and made sure that my stay was brilliant.
I will definitely be back! What a lovely place to stay

Highly recommend the Talbot Hotel in Clonmel
Pros:

I attended a conference at the hotel. My room was excellent, although as there was a heatwave air conditioning would by a very welcome addition. But hey this is Ireland. The staff are superb couldn't fault any of them all are helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast was excellent (great sausages, bacon and the fried eggs - soft yokes). The standard of service and food at lunch was exceptional too.
I highly recommend The Talbot Hotel in Clonmel.
A special mention for Katrina on reception and Sarah - I think the lady’s name is - in the restaurant.

Not bad value for money
Pros:

Close to town and good parking. Walking distance to St Patricks Well which is a stunning and peaceful must see spot.

Cons:

Facilities were being renovated, breakfast was limited and not overly fresh
