Nothing negative
The location really is unbeatable. Galata Tower and Taksim Square are both within easy walking distance, and Sultanahmet is reachable on foot if you're feeling adventurous. If not, there's a tram nearby that gets you there in around 20 minutes and it's just as handy for a quick trip out to the Byzantine Walls and Panorama Museum too.
The staff were an absolute highlight. Always smiling and genuinely happy to help, every single morning without fail. The housekeeping team were particularly lovely. A small gift waiting on arrival was a lovely touch, as was finding a chocolate on the pillow each evening. The toiletry selection was also a cut above the usual.
The room itself was perfectly comfortable. A decent size with lovely high ceilings. I'd seen comments about rooms being small and genuinely couldn't understand it; perhaps as Brits we're just pleasantly surprised to have space! Yes, it can get noisy at night given the lively area, but that's entirely to be expected and hardly a complaint.
The rooftop bar is not to be missed. Stunning views, great atmosphere, and the same warm, attentive service you find throughout the hotel. Speaking of which, the whole place has a lovely feel to it: gentle background music, relaxed vibes, and a warmth that's hard to put your finger on but immediately noticeable.
All in all, a gorgeous stay. We'll absolutely be recommending it to friends.
I saw complaints about the breakfast and the cost seemed quite expensive for what it was, so we just went to the shop directly over the road for fresh pastries each morning. Easy fix!
We had a great stay at the bank hotel. It is a beautiful hotel in a great location to visit all tourist and non tourist sites. The rooms and decor were amazing.

Great hotel, very helpful staff members. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Shower with good pressure, comfortable bed. Very nice roof top restaurant. I had a few requests for dinner and they made them exactly I have asked. Amazing antique elevator in the lobby that you can only see in old films. Surely will book again when I come back to Istanbul.
