Quip Bed & Breakfast Phuket Hotel

I loved our stay at this hotel. It’s conveniently located in the middle of town. It’s so easy to get to everything from this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable though simple. There is a restaurant at the hotel for convenience and also a roof top bar. Though during our stay it didn’t seem much was going on there. The only negative thing I have to say about this hotel is that one of the rooms we stayed in had a bad sewage smell. We stayed in two different rooms and it was only one that had this issue. Overall we loved it here so convenient and you can’t beat that price!

The staff are lovely and the general amenities are fine. No lift so get a room on the first floor. Restaurant only opens at 5pm. Live music most nights, solo artists doing classic bar music. Pretty good mostly.

It’s got a very cool hipster vibe. Mattress was average and sat on skids (timber pallets). A but low down and hard to get up from the bed.
It is a very safe place to stay.

Overall it’s cheap and easy but maybe better for younger people to stay.

Would stay again.

Rooftop doesn’t look like the pics on the listing. No “breakfast” available at the “bed and breakfast” - when we asked about it we were told it was ‘an old name.’ Better places to stay in the area. We had 2 rooms - 1 didn’t have a safe. Wouldn’t stay again.

Just deceiving name bed and breakfast but no breakfast. Dirty .noisy .its good if you need a room per hour

The hotel is in a great location to walk Old town area. The nightlife from the bar area can be a bit noisy in the room but overall a good place to stay in Phuket town.

There was very loud music from the bar on the first floor that made sleeping difficult. Although the hotel is called a bed and breakfast, we were told no breakfast was available and there are very limited options for restaurants open before 9:00 or 10:00 AM. The shower did not get warm at all and there was standing water on the bathroom floor, as the drain was not positioned correctly. There was quite a bit of traffic and noise from the street as well. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is not the place.

This is the perfect starting home base in Phuket if you are trying to visit the local shops and clubs. You can get anything you need nearby. The hotel has a great party at the hotel with live music so expect that there will be noise until around 1am but common your going to be at the party and the other clubs and restaurants in the area that some are open past 5am. After 1am the noise is not bad at all and I slept great. I would for sure stay here again very clean safe place to stay. The style of the hotel is also so much fun.

The hotel was nice and I haven’t heard my neighbors. It‘s very central to the old town which brings naturally some noise from the road.

The windows were very small and based very high. So I couldn’t what out of the windows.

In general the hotel was good and the rooms were in a good state and not worn out. So if you wanna stay there for a view nights it is very convenient but if you wanna stay longer I would not go there. For me as a backpacker it was fine enough and would stay there again.

Great location. They had live music. Clean and close to everything.

I booked this property to visit Sunday market at Old Phuket Town and it served the purpose well. Walkable distance in the town everywhere from
sunday markets, Sino-european buildings and small shops & restaurants. We booked a family room of 2 double beds and it was quite spacious for a faimily of 3. The staffs were kind and ready to help however they are not always present at the desk. You can still reach out to them through whatsapp and they respond quickly.
Downside would be
- there’s no elevators
(our room was on 4th and thanksfully the staffs helped us to bring them up; but wish I should have known this as I got injured recently and have pains for using stairs); and

- little to no windows in the room so it was pretty dark.

I also read from the review that the interior was basically none with cements & water pipes, however the setting didn’t bother me. On contrary very unique (and love the check in desk which is a car)

Overall, not bad considering the price and if you want to stay a short term for old town. But if any issue with stairs (or big luggages); or dark place (despite not being a claustrophobia), it may not be your best choice
