This stay has made me more likely to just stick with Tokyu REI for Japan trips.
Pros:

Highlights:
- Accommodating and thoughtful staff
- Free lounge for guests to have their meals and hang out
- Free-to-use record player in the main area
- Very comfortable bed
- Really nice view of the city
- The room and bathroom were very clean
- There's a water dispenser by the elevator on each floor, for guests to fill up their water bottles
- At night a staff member would be stationed by the lift lobby, who would also greet us when we came back, which was a nice touch
- We could go straight in and up to our room without passing through the lobby
- Very convenient location, right next to Nankinmachi (Chinatown) and several cafes
- Just a few minutes’ walk from Motomachi and Kyukyoryuchi Daimarumae stations

Cons:

- The room was a bit small, but that’s normal for Japanese hotels
- The hotel feels slightly worn in places, especially the bathroom
