Construction work going on 24/7 and inconsistent service
Pros:

Construction work going on 24/7 and inconsistent service:

Charles was fantastic but their website basically lies.

There was no chair and ottoman in my room, see pic and copy, and when I complained where it was I was told there wasn't one of the hotel anywhere!

So why is it on the hotel website for every room?

That's misleading marketing.

They also claimed that they warn guests about the non-stop construction going on on both sides of the hotel 24/7.

But again as you can see on the website front page for this hotel there is nothing there so if it's there it's been deliberately buried.

Had I known about the noise I would not have booked it.

The breakfast is fantastic, I enjoyed the Asian miso soup, teryaki salmon, and chicken noodles and I liked the gym but if you like running you won't as there's no running machine.....but they do allow you to go next door for the Westin gym which does have that.

It's pretty central but the biggest reason not to stay here is the 24/7 construction noise which they do not tell you about when you book.

Not the best stay
Pros:

Not the best stay. We were told in advance parking wasnt included so booked parking offsite ourself close by, we were then told at checkin it was included. We had booked interconnecting rooms, we were able to check into one room early, which we appreciated, but once the other room was ready they never actually opened the rooms up, we had to do ourselves. A frame from the window cavity fell down the morning of departure and almost took our toddler out. Staff were not apologetic, or helpful, they comped us a coffee. I asked multiple times to be sent invoice for stay and still never received it. Plenty of better options out there in Brisbane, at least the apartment was clean though and beds comfortable.

Brisbane's adventure in Jan/2026
Pros:

I checked in very late, luckily the front desk provided a swift service. The room was clean, tidy and quiet. I was arranged a high floor room, spacious interir. Eventhough the was a mysterious door in my room, but it wasn't bother me that much. Since I had tried to open it so many times, the door was tightly locked. There were plenty of local restaurants, bistros, open shop,... around the area. It was a solid option
