Pas loin de la gare de l est personnel accueillant et disponible

Cons:

Pas la possibilité de prendre un café à 5h30 du matin. Malgré la chambre à mobilité réduite à côté du placard (pas besoinde monterles étages sans ascenseur) mauvaise nuit à cause de bruit de la rue.Odeur de cigarette dans la chambre même si noté " non fumeur" un cendrier est déposé sur la table

Nice basic hotel in central area
Pros:

Friendly staff, easy check in and a comfy bed.

Cons:

Breakfast was VERY basic, No privacy on ground floor because room was right on the street so couldn't open curtains or windows.

The location was good, near to metro.

Cons:

We stayed in summer, they did not have AC, the room was unbearably hot. Ventilator was too small. Some of the stuff was rude. There is no list but staff helped to carry bags. The sheets were filthy, sink was broken and had bad smell. The room was in the attic and was hotter than outside. The room doesn’t look like what is shown in the photos.

Unbearably hot and noisy

Cons:

We got a room on the top floor, which basically meant it had been baking in the sun all day. It was July, so the weather was very hot. Despite that, people in France seem to be afraid of air conditioning.

We stayed for one night, but we couldn't sleep because the room was unbearably hot. In addition, the people in the room next to ours kept going in and out until 2 a.m., and we could hear the door slamming constantly.

Judging by the noise, the constant footsteps, and the number of times the door was slammed, it seemed that several people were living in that room, possibly as a way to reduce housing costs by sharing the space. In our opinion, this is completely unacceptable in a hotel, especially when it causes so much disturbance to other guests.

And one final message to the French: please clean your streets. Thank you.

L'accueil est très agréable, aimable et serviable. Pour 1 étoile, je m'attendais à une qualité inférieure.

Cons:

La chambre était propre mais les interrupteurs ne l'étaient absolument pas. La chambre avait une odeur de tabac froid.

I feel like we have found a new gem in Paris with this neighbourhood.
Pros:

This hotel is in an amazing location with a lot of local life going on. In the evenings it comes alive and makes it perfect to hangout at a cafe or restaurant with friends. its is definetly not a touristic place yet busy with locals. very popular! We have made a very last minute booking for 3 people in one room. it was a manageable size and great staff with a smile on their face all the time.

Cons:

Paris is Paris, it is not the most silent location.That being said it has its own back ally charm.
