Professional property host/manager
Great surprise upgrade! But beware the steps and closed waterpark.
We stayed as a family with three teenagers in September 2025.
ROOMS: ★★★★★
We received a fantastic free upgrade to two Luxury Rooms! They were perfect, located across the hall from each other. Each had its own jacuzzi (a teen hit), with one offering a sea view and the other a mountain view.
BIG PROBLEMS: ★★☆☆☆
1. Waterpark Closed: We booked for the free waterpark, but it was closed for a boxing event during our stay. We weren't informed beforehand, which ruined most of our holiday plans for our sons.
2. Lots of Steps: The hotel is on a mountainside, requiring climbs of 200+ stairs to reach rooms. The hill lift often breaks down (it did on our last day). Not suitable for those with mobility issues or buggies.
FOOD & VALUE: ★★★★☆
The main buffet had good variety, including vegan options. You must get your own drinks, as staff don't serve them. The spa and trips were good value. The kids' team, however, only engaged with outgoing guests and didn't encourage our shy teens.
Shopping Tip:
Nearby towns are expensive. For better prices and authentic goods, take a short taxi/bus ride to Fethiye.
Final Thought
We liked the hotel for the amazing rooms and food. However, the closed waterpark, steps, and broken lift mean we rate it 4 stars, not 5. Book only if you're prepared for the hills and confirm the waterpark is open.
Really had a Great time at this property, the facilities and staff I cant fault
Everything was amazing, from the food, to the staff, even down to the beds, it was all so good.
This was our first stay at an all inclusive and my husband and I had a great time. We thought there was a large variety of food, which many healthy options. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was clean, and for the most part quiet (you can hear the entertainment go until maybe 11 pm or so), with a wonderful view. It was end of the season, so it seems prices were also quite low for the experience. Overall, we were very happy.
My only complaint was how often and almost aggressively, staff would come to offer massages/spa/haircuts. It’s one thing to offer while we are walking by in the lobby, when you can politely decline and keep walking. But to repeatedly come up to us while we are laying by the pool was flat out uncomfortable. I felt like we only agreed to a massage bc we literally had to or he would never leave us alone (and we did not cave until our 3rd day). The prices were comparable to a massage in America, which was not impressive since everything else was so much cheaper.
All in all, I would definitely return for another stay.
Upgraded to very nice room with private swim-up pool.... very nice. Atmosphere was very British and loud in some cases but around the quieter pools you could relax & chill. Food was good with plenty of choice & staff always on hand and willing to help whenever required!
I will say that was my best stay in turkey for 3 nights very peacful place and surrounded with jungle . Big pool to enjoy and relax.
The rooms are comfy with good air con. The stairs get easier as the week goes on but its the price you pay for amazing views and there is a lift if you need it. Great location for Olu and Hisoranu. Food is lovely and the staff are great. Have been before and was disappointed that 90% of the entertainment is geared towards 10% of the customers. i.e. the 18 to 30 age range. Ive been before and was really forward to my return. Based on the loud music and style of entertainmenr i wont go again.
We were upgraded to a jacuzzi suite room in the new block, which was beautiful, modern and very clean and spacious. The air con wasnt very good and the fridge wasn't stocked at all. Other than this it would perfect. Being in this new suite gave you the privilege of another pool and bar and was a lot quieter.
1) wifi very unstable
2) unclean kitchenware
enjoyed holiday pool was very cold not great food but cant complain for what you pay more like a 3 star hotel entertainment poor a lot of steps no problem to us but some people will find it hard as lift often out of action it was the end of season so maybe things will be better next year
It was a nice hotel in a calming area close to the beach.
Overall it was a good experience. It could have been a lot better if our Airconditioning worked all the way to the end. It stopped working on day 3 even with the doors closed during the day. Staff kept fobbing us off saying we must have left the door open. One staff said the night temperature was set to 25 degrees for all guests😥
Be aware that the contact numbers on the entry card for the door of the room have no relevance to the hotel, we called it when stranded only to be told it's not the hotel, when we got back to Hotel the member of staff confirmed that she didn't know who the numbers belong to 😳
The food was ok but the menu options became increasingly fewer toward the end.
The spa staff and cleaners were very polite and helpful
Inspite of this we hope it's all sorted before we come back.
Tracey o reception was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the local area she is an asset to the hotel
Great location, downtown near by, near fethiye and to the Oludeniz Blue lagoon.
It was a nice stay in the hotel, view are very nice food are good too. We really enjoy our stay only downside is no heated pool so if you go around Oct you will not be able to use much pool as water is too cold. Otherwise it is a nice hotel.
Orka Sunlife is a great hotel were we had an amazing holiday. The service was great, the staff were friendly, helpful and most of them speak English. The food was good, definitely you can find something that you enjoy eating. Their local wine is good but we did not like the beer. The pool looks great but the water is very cold. The beach towels are soft and nice. The views are stunning, the beach area near the Blue Lagoon is amazing BUT if you want to get into the water you need some shoes that you can purchase for 30TL.The nearest town is Hirasonu-taxi 12TL and to get to the Oludeniz beach you can take the taxi for 20TL( the free shuttle takes you to Billy's beach, which we weren't a fan of).You can take boat trips from the beach. Even though they are not at all cheap, the massages really worth the money.
We had an okay time here (couple with a 13 year old son) but probably big resorts like this aren't really for us. We were out all day so didn't really take advantage of it.
The pool area was really crowded.
Good food amenities. Bit of an issue with late checkout. Website says available but on my leaving day there wasabout 15 flights leaving for uk and no one I spoke to was able to get late checkout. I was told no before the receptionit's remembered to ask my room number. Bear in mind if late flight home.
This was mine and my boyfriends first holiday together and we were not disappointed! Five star treatment from all staff, the facilities were amazing with the large swimming pool and variety of water slides to the in hotel spa. Plenty of things to keep children entertained during the day and also in the evening and shows that please all ages in the ampa theatre. Could not fault this hotel if you tried!
Great hotel
We stayed at this hotel in June 2015. I had booked a sea view room; however was given a no-view room. After going back to the reception, our room was changed. The rooms are super tiny. You can barely move or lay your luggage. It says 5 star hotel, but with American standards I'll give this hotel 3.5 stars. Spa team try to sell you stuff and if they talk to you and you don't buy, they show an attitude. The hotel setting is nice. If you are a non-smoker, you will have a hard time since almost everybody smokes there. To use a la carte restaurant they charge you an additional fee which is ridiculous to me. There was a ping pong table and a mini football; however, we never found a ball to play and the racket was torn as well. The room amenities like shampoo, tissue,...were with the lowest possible quality and there was no hair conditioner. The gym opens at 8 am. Once I went there at 10 am and the room was still locked. I had to see 4 different people and waste 30 minutes to find someone to open the room for guests. Food was plenty and tasty.
