Great property cleaned and sofisticated. Breakfast incredible. Only negative point far from the lake.

This incredible hilltop resort exceeded all expectations. The facility was top quality, the rooms were impeccable, and the staff was fantastic. The views were absolutely stunning, and the breakfast buffet was one of the best ever. We didn't want to leave!

Wir hatten ein wunderbares verlängertes Wochenende im Resort Collina d’Oro. Die Lage oberhalb von Lugano ist traumhaft – ruhig, mitten im Grünen und mit einem herrlichen Blick auf die umliegenden Berge und den See.

Das Zimmer war stilvoll eingerichtet und absolut sauber.

Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig und bot eine sehr gute Auswahl an frischen Produkten. Auch die Restaurantküche ist empfehlenswert – regionale Spezialitäten in hoher Qualität.

Das Spa mit Pool, Sauna und Ruhebereichen ist ein echtes Highlight. Nach einem Tag am Lago Maggiore oder einem Ausflug in die Berge ist das genau der richtige Ort zum Entspannen.

Das Personal war stets freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit – wir haben uns rundum wohl und willkommen gefühlt.

Wir können das Resort Collina d’Oro uneingeschränkt empfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Absolutely beautiful resort in a quiet town away from it all. Staff is amazing. Loved the small but tasty breakfast included with the stay. Wonderful spa that was also included with the stay. Neither the indoor nor outdoor hot tub/jacuzzi was open which was very disappointing. You must have a car if you plan on exploring any other ares of Lake Lugano.

Amazing place , staff is super well trained and friendly , hotel is perfectly maintained, room big enough and so nice .I travel a lot and this is the first time that i hv no comments at all , much better then famouse "big hotels chaine " in terms of .....all . Price wise is also amazing .

Beautiful hotel

Our recent stay at this so-called 5-star hotel was a complete disaster, all thanks to the outrageous allowance of cigar smoking during breakfast. It’s absolutely baffling that any hotel, let alone one claiming to be of high caliber, would think it’s okay to let guests light up cigars in a communal dining area.

The experience was made even worse by the appalling attitude of the staff. When I initially complained about the unbearable smoke, the waiter casually dismissed my concerns, acting as if I was overreacting. When I persisted, he had the audacity to say, “If I work here and have to deal with this daily, so can you.” Seriously? This level of disregard for guest comfort and health is inexcusable.

The entire breakfast was ruined. The air was thick with smoke, making it impossible to enjoy the food or even breathe comfortably. The smell clung to our clothes and hair, making us feel sick for the rest of the day. I can't believe I spent so much money to be treated so poorly and subjected to such a toxic environment.

Avoid this place if you care at all about your health and comfort. This is far from a luxury experience—it's more like a nightmare. We won’t be coming back, and I strongly advise others to stay away unless you enjoy breathing in second-hand cigar smoke with your morning coffee.

It was extremely loud from a big party and it lasted till past 1am, kids couldn’t sleep at all. Also, complained that the shower smelled like a clogged sewer. If you didn’t close the shower door the whole room would smell. Makes you want to gag and throw up as soon as you walk into the shower.

Erneut wieder im traumhaft gelegenen Collina d.Oro Resort abgestiegen. Die Atmosphäre ist einfach Mystisch, Spa Facility und Gym genial. Das Morgenbuffet könnte eine Spur besser präsentiert sein, dennoch die Qualität ist topp.

The property itself is stunning, super quiet, beautifully maintained gardens, gorgeous views etc, but the rooms are different story. They falsely advertise double rooms as 32sq m, which is an absolute lie . Our room was barely 20 sqm. Awful beds & even worse cheap bedding linen. We had only 1 pillow each, when we asked for extra pillows the same person who works as a receptionist brought us extra two even more awful quality pillows. The room quality is a real shame otherwise would be fantastic relaxing hotel.

Lækkert hotel i dejligt område, dog kunne sengen være bedre, madrassen føltes som at ligge på en plasticpose, så man vågnede op våd af sved.
