Pros:

Absolutely delightful couple that run this lodge.
Rooms large and spacious and view to die for.
Gardens were beautifully maintained as well
Great breakfast too.
They helped us with local attractions and restaurants

Lovely place incredible views and spectacular host
Pros:

Gorgeous views and sunset each night with a cozy room and knock your socks of shower! Best one we’ve encountered in New Zealand. Jets all over to relax your tired and sore body after exploring all day. Collin and Jan were delightful and I highly recommend this place! We’d love to come back here

Pros:

Gorgeous view over the lake. Located about 15-20 minutes from Cambridge and 20 minutes from Hobbiton, this was a nice small B&B for our visit. The owner is very friendly and the breakfast was very good.

Lovely property with amazing views. Great hosts. Perfect breakfast. Close to lots of activities eg Waitomo, Tirau, Cambridge, Hobbiton but you need a vehicle.

Very pleasant stay with friendly hosts. Perhaps it would have been nice to have a cool room on arrival on the hottest day this year, the room had not had the air conditioner turned on, so it did take a while to cool. Blankets were provided to replace the very fluffy duvet which is too heavy for summer, perhaps a lighter summer weight duvet would be better?

Over all a very comfortable stay and highly recommended.

Pros:

The lodge is immaculate and very clean. Period features and modern facilities means you have the best of everything. Fantastic hosts that are amazing to spend time with. Home made dinner was well worth it and made our stay even more special. Fantastic views of the Waikato and Maungatatauri Mountain.
