Senses Quinta Avenida By Artisan Adults Only

Tv did not work, one night, there was no cold or hot water….could not even take a shower, room has no light, and a bathtub on a balcony that everyone can see, the elevator broke an entire day. There are no towels in the room.

No es el lugar porque se para un señor desafinado a gritar porque el talento de cantar se le fue h es bien molesto
Por todo lo demás está bien y céntrico
Comer al rededor es carísimo
Pero puedes ir al Fogón , que es tradicional de tacos y va gente del pueblo que es lo más económico que vimos en cuanto a restaurantes
Tienes a unos 5 minutos caminando chedraui 100% recomendado , cuando lo descubrimos fuimos a desayunar y comer ahí , y es menos que cualquier otro lugar
Guarda tu dinero para las excursiones y come aquí lo hay todo .
Si un expreso cuesta en la calle 80 pesos
Ahí cuesta 35
Y todo los demás es mucho más barato

Our stay at the hotel left us with mixed feelings. On one hand, the staff was undeniably helpful, always eager to assist. However, their approach to customer service felt a bit too relaxed. The persistent issue with room keys being blocked was particularly frustrating. I found myself having to make multiple trips to the front desk to resolve the problem, only for it to reoccur shortly after. This was not the seamless experience one would expect from a hotel aiming to provide exemplary service.

Additionally, the staff didn’t seem very well-versed in the local area. When asked about transportation options or popular local activities, the responses were less informative than I had hoped, which is a common inquiry from tourists. A bit more training in this area could greatly enhance the guests' experience.

While the cleanliness of the hotel was commendable, there were some flaws in the details that affected the overall ambiance. The towels, and pillows provided looked worn and stained, detracting from an otherwise tidy environment. A hotel’s attention to the little things often makes a significant difference in how guests perceive their stay.

The hotel has a solid foundation and plenty of potential, but there are several areas needing improvement. With more attention to service training and upkeep of amenities, it could elevate itself from a decent stay to a truly memorable one.

La tele estaba dañada, todas las noches las tuberías de la regadera y del baño hacen ruido... la cama no tiene edredón o algo modesto para taparse, en general el desayuno es lo mismo, huevo en cualquier presentación, jugo de caja y café; siento que está algo costoso para la calidad; pagué $1000 mxn para que adornaran la habitación romántica y solo pusieron unos pétalos muy chafa y una botella sin enfriar de $100 mxn; no recomiendo pagar eso, ni se nota la diferencia; el escusado no tiene privacidad... para algunas personas puede ser incomodo. De lo bueno, la cama es cómoda, la alberca está bien y en general son amables.

Great place to stay in playa del carmen, specially if you like to walk late in the 5th, you can go and enjoy the commercial places in that avenue and go back easily.

The 1st day was no hot water & the last day the A/C was not working properly...no cold air was coming out.
But the breakfast was good, it's in the middle of everything, very convenient...in walking distance to everything.
Staff was very friendly & polite.

Mention a negative thing and Senses Quinta Avenida by Artisan got it….
I started in a room with a balcony with no view. There were Walls to two of the sides and a covering of Wood to the last side so absolute not a place that is Nice to be. Furthermore the room were very Dark due to the Walls at the balcony.
The linen at the bed and the Towers were dingy.
There were 3 hangers - not many for a woman. There were no safe - was installed after 2 days.
There was no hot water for 2 days.
After 2 days the hotel offered me to change my room to a brighter room with a balcony with a view over the street. As a compensation they offered me a tour of my own choice. Unfortunately they did not keep this promise and I never get the tour.
The Aircondition function occasionally. The water shall sometimes run for 5-10 minuts before it gets hot.
I was accused of smearing the sheets with some red stuff which I never have done. I put one of the sheets at the floor because I wanted it to be changed but not
due to some red stuff.
At 28th of February when I came back from the Beach there were no electricity and no water. It took more than two hours before it came back. To days later problem with the hot water again.
The elevator has been out of order a couple of times.
There is only one employee at the hotel that speak English and he is not working allways.
I would give this hotel 1* on a good day 2* but never a 4* hotel.
If you want a good and relaxing vacation you shall choose another hotel.

This hotel is in a great location, everything you need or want is walkable. The staff were very helpful and friendly to their capabilities. I am notnsure who is managing this hotel but it does need to be taken csre of more as there is very easy things to do to make it just a bit better such as new towels as they dont have enough towels for everyone as we got told as they get thrown out because they habe lots of holes, stains in them and falling apart. Is it not is easy to get new towels? Same with the pool towels. When visiting the pool, the cushions for the loungers are disgusting and not enough loungers, or coushins missing for some seats. The breakfast needs to be better, more options, better variety since it is included and the woman that is cooking is sweet and amazing and has said she can cook a mutiple different types of dishes but having the same breakfast for almost every single days except for a 2 days...isn't good enough. The hotel needs to step up. For the hotel room, the mirrors need replacing, dont just put another mirror ontop of a nother mirror. They mirrors need replacing as they are falling apart. The toliet is separated in its own room, but a glass door is not helping anyone...it should not be glass ad no one needs to see in when someone is doingntheir business. The remote for the tv doesn't work. The blinds do not go up or down as they lost the remote for them...why even have an electric blind system if you cant use it, it would be nice to see outside.

Staff were friendly - elevator was broken down - rooftop pool was great. Excellent location. Back rooms are darker but nice and quiet and comfy bed!!

Everything was great. The only inconvenience was no hotel reserved parking area!

The property is a hidden gem. All the review were right on-point! In proximity to everything. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely stay again.
