The room was newly painted and remodeled, so it was very clean.
The bed wasn't very comfy and the streets outside are pretty sketchy, but once inside, all good.
Nothing, I never checked in to the hotel. I called the front desk to get my money back and they said I have to call the service I used to book the room.
This was my first trip to San Francisco. I saw the price and the photos and was not aware this hotel was in a very depressing area of the city. When I arrived, I told the taxi driver if he knew of another location that was near by to check in. I did not get out of the car or check in. I didn't get my refund back for the deposit. If I do return to San Francisco in the future, I will look for a hotel outside the city. I would like my deposit charged back to my card.
The hotel is very clean - no bugs, no pests. Stuff is very friendly.
Homeless people are being pushed from around the area to gather next to the hotel at night which results in a loud party with controlled substance use (people folded in half) and in rap music blasting, police talking to them using loud speakers trying to maintain order, etc.
Soluzione tra le più economiche a San Francisco
Bagno condiviso, strada mal frequentata, molto rumore la notte
It’s cheap and you can trust the concierge
Too many homeless outside the main entrance
Located very close to downtown, right beside Market St. so public transportation was easily accessible.
Out of their control, but there were large gatherings of homeless people directly outside the door. They didn't cause any issues for me even being by myself, but just something to be wary of.
The hotel is near the Main Street and the Market Street so it makes it easy to access via BART and Muni.
There are:
- drug traffickers
- drug sale
- junkies
Lots of human feces, garbage. Right in front of the hotel door there are strip clubs right next door. The place is so bad that I can't even explain. The elevator doesn't work half the time. It is as bad as it can possibly get.
Literally nothing.
Terrible location, no warning. It is located in the "famous" 6th street which I learned about the it when I arrived at 1am. Be ready to stay with zombies especially at the evening. Saying "no safe" is not enough to describe the situation and there was no warning about it from the hotel.
Cheap and very close to the venues I needed on Market street.
The staff person was very nice. He was helpful and understanding, although he wasn't clear as to why I was expecting to be able to let in after midnight when my flight got delayed.
The area is FULL of homeless people, making it very noisy, very dirty, and very smelly. The check in process (completely unavailable after midnight, which wasn't disclosed over text until the day of arrival) makes no sense for such an area in which it can be dangerous to stay outside late.
Even though check in should be until 12 midnight, they ask for an extra fee after 11 pm (again, not disclosed until the day of arrival).
I am not sure what they mean by 24 hours security, but if the front desk is unavailable after midnight, and there is no hired security personnel on duty, I would not advertise this as 24 hours security.
Bathrooms were clogged and slightly dirty a few times.
