Wonderfully small, quiet, and gorgeous!
Pros:

We couldn’t have had a better short stay. The whole property and beach are beautiful and quiet. The staff are so kind. Right on the beach and very relaxing.

Was very impressed by this boutique hotel. It is very well located on a quiet part of the beach, about a 5 minute walk to the edge of the town centre. Some good restaurants and bars are a stone's throw away. Having the private loungers on the beach was great and the sargassum was minimal. Having amenities such as aircon, coffee and drinking water in the room was great and the room we had on the second floor was very private and well designed. For the price, this place was great - there are some high end hotels on the island but, really, there is not much more you could want than a nice, large room on an absolute beachfront which Casa takywara provides.

More wardrobe space and an iron would be ideal

Pros:

Nous avons passé un séjour absolument au top à la Casa Takywara. L'hôtel est très bien placé, ce qui permet de profiter pleinement de l'île en toute simplicité.
Le personnel est extrêmement accueillant et aux petits soins. Un grand plus pour la propreté : le ménage est fait tous les jours ce qui est très appréciable. Une adresse que nous recommandons sans hésiter pour des vacances réussies à Holbox !

Location is amazing, directly on a quiet beach, provided with beds and ombrella’s

Cons:

The breakfast is provided by another structure. unfortunately it was not enjoyable because an incredible amount of wasps attacking the syrup and honey that is provided at the bar. We decided to go to a coffee shop and pay for the breakfast once more instead.

Beautiful location
Pros:

I stayed in the penthouse suite. It exceeded expectations! The room was huge. The patio was also huge with an ocean front view. The location was on a beautiful peaceful white sand beach. It was a short 10-15 minute walk into town

A luxury beach stay
Pros:

The beach! This is located on the best section of the beach in Holbox in my opinion. This also seemed to the the only property along the beach that took the care to take the sand every morning and rake up the seagrass… which made this beach the best. The room was well equipped, I loved the coffee mugs and coffee maker provided. The bed was extremely comfortable with comfortable linens. I loved the soaps provided - felt like aromatherapy, very luxurious. I loved the beach lounge chairs provided. This was by far the best of the places I stayed in Holbox and I would 100% recommend to anyone.

Pros:

Beautifull place to stay if you visit Holbox. Withing walking distance of the village and the breakfast which is not on site, is also just a 4 min walk from the hotel. So that was no problem at all.

The sunbeds on the beach are only for guests, so every day we had sunbeds on the beach. From there you have an amazing view to see the sunset.

Top Hotel in ruhiger Lage
Pros:

Wir waren für 5 Nächte im Casa Takywara und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Unser Zimmer war im ersten Stock des schmucken Gebäudes und hatte einen eigene kleine private Terasse, die zwar keinen Blick aufs Meer bietet, aber dafür schön ruhig war. Außerdem gab es eine kleine Küchenzeile , die ausreichend ausgestattet war um sich kleinere Speisen und Kaffee zu kochen. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und das Personal äußerst freundlich. Die Lage war für uns optimal, nicht direkt im Trubel der Ortschaft, aber noch nah genug, dass man bequem zu Fuß innerhalb von wenigen Minuten im Zentrum war. Die Anlage ist insgesamt sehr gepflegt und hat auch einen kleinen Strandabschnitt mit Liegen, die man benutzen kann. Eine kühlbox mit Eis für Getränke wird kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellt.

Für das Frühstück muss man in einen benachbarten Beachclub laufen, was sich aber nicht wirklich lohnt zu buchen, da die Auswahl beschränkt ist und es so viele andere tolle Alternativen auf der Insel gibt (oder man macht sich ein gemütliches Frühstück auf der Terasse).

Insgesamt hat uns der Aufenthalt sehr gefallen und wir würden es wieder buchen, falls es uns nochmal auf diese schöne Insel verschlägt.

Cons:

Ein paar mehr Möglichkeiten um Klamotten zu verstauen/aufzuhängen sowie Nachtischlampen am Bett wären super.

A lovely location and comfortable stay
Pros:

We really enjoyed the property and the secluded beach nature it had!

We really loved that it wasn’t in the center of town so it was more quiet and right on the beach front.

Cons:

The hotel is very environmentally friendly, therefore, you won’t get towel changes each day which is not necessarily a negative but worth to note as it takes longer for towels to dry etc.
