Gute Lage, entspanntes Parken und top Preis-Leistung!
Pros:

Ich buche das a&o immer, wenn ich in Weimar bin. Man kann entspannt parken und zu Fuß in die Stadt laufen. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist top – komme gerne wieder!

Ich würde auf jeden Fall wieder dort buchen!
Pros:

Sie war sehr sauber und gut ausgeschildert. Die Zimmer waren klein, aber fein. Eine sehr schöne Ausstattung meiner Meinung nach! Zudem hat auch das Frühstück alles was man benötigt!

Cons:

Manchmal kann es sein, dass man Kinder von oben oder nebenan weinen oder toben hört. Dasselbe gilt für die Gänge zu den Zimmern.

Fenster nur kippbar.
Ist für 6 Menschen im Raum wenig.
Es kann stickig sein.
Lichtschalter für das Badezimmer ist nicht auffindbar. War links hinter der Ecke im geteilten Lichtschalter, der von einer Jacke verdeckt war.

Budget travel. Unfriendly.
Pros:

Very close to train station. The guest kitchen was well-equipped and there was a bus station just outside reception to get into the city centre. Drinks and other essentials available at reception 24/7.

Cons:

I arrived late because of train delays and was only told after I’d quitely gotten ready for bed and had to go downstairs in my PJs that the bed sheets were not included in the price. When I asked reception why, I was told it was because I wasn’t a private member and the night receptionist was quite rude about my frustration. He handed me bedsheets anyway because he didn’t want to deal with me. Why would bedsheets be considered a luxury item? Is this a prison or a hostel?? My room had two strangers sleeping next to each other too. Thankfully, I wasn’t in that bed, but I found it truly uncomfortable. What if you were sleeping next to a creep or someone who stank? I barely slept, as is, because the bathrooms offered no sound-proofing. Also, you had to exchange your keycard to use the kitchen, which made me feel unwelcome, and the reception waiting area was deliberately made uncomfortable to stop you hanging out there. Having stayed in other hostels that were just €4 more per night and that were more accommodating and pleasant to stay in, I would argue that a&o is not worth saving a few coins. I won’t be staying with this company again.
