Martin's Comfort

The Breakfast was excellent and all the Staff went the extra mile to make us comfortable.

The staff were mostly great. The odd weird moment. The bathroom was good but definitely could’ve been cleaner. The cleanliness was lacking in some areas. Also the ability to get toilet paper and water. Being charged extra for water bottles isn’t cool - not when clean drinking water isn’t available and everything is a significant walk away.

Value for money excellent.
Not amazingly clean but ok.
Not a huge choice at breakfast, but ok.
Bed was comfortable, but room was not as clean as I would have liked, not filthy, but not brilliant either.

Loved the stay - great rooms economical price close to spectacular seafood dining at Martin’s Corner restaurant - breakfast options were great facility including pool was nice

Unfortunately I was very disappointed.
The tv / cable was broken, the rooms looking very dated and lacking any atmosphere. The soap dispenses in the shower were empty and the shower easily flooded.
I wouldn’t return for sure.

The property is misrepresented on the Expedia web site. it has no lift, the rooms are disgustingly dirty and unhygienic. The staff are incapable of cleaning the rooms due to poor training. The Breakfast offering is very poor. The pool is a health and safety nightmare and the hotel is rat infested.

The property is very beautiful and well located but needs serious rehauling as far as the furniture and bathrooms are concerned. The staff is amazing - Mr Pratap, Ms Svetlana and others but the upkeep was very disappointing.

Room really needs a make over and the bathroom needs to be totally redone. Mold everywhere and simple cleaning would get this solved. Too bad as it's quite charming hotel

Hotel property was excellent service and staff were friendly and exemplary. A beautiful location away from the noise and pollution. The restaurant was superb

A lovely relaxed stay at Martins comfort, great breakfast also excellent cuisine at it's own restaurant opposite Martins corner with endless choice of dishes, the friendly staff who go the extra mile to ensure a wonderful stay, rooms so welcoming with comfortable beds, with towel changes everyday .. The reception staff also are so helpful in everyway , we're coming back again next year for another holiday.

Place was so close to the beach, restaurant. Friendly staff. Can improve with breakfast different menu everyday

The staff was pleasant. However, housekeeping need to be improved. There was mould on the bathroom tiles of the renovated rooms.

Fab hotel and staff WiFi a little hot and miss but overall an excellent holiday

Well kept hotel in the peaceful serene area of betalbatim.the hotel staff are courteous and non obtrusive.ideal place to relax and unwind away from the city.

Double bedroom with air con and ceiling fan and balcony overlooking pool. Restaurant within hotel complex is also run by same family and has music most nights. Breakfast included and 8-10am reasonable time. Choice of fruits and cereal and toast and Indian breakfast options as well as eggs cooked to order. Very helpful staff who made my stay special. Taxi set at r1500 to airport, whoever is used. Book via reception as they know local safe drivers. They check room after you check out so Allie time for this if you leave in the evening or night.

A great location 10-15 min walk to Sunset Beach then various shacks at either direction. Nice restaurants close by. Nice cool swimming pool, TV and ISP could be a bit spotty...staff nice and helpful.

We stayed for a day. Had a nice experience staying. Great place to stay away from the noisy city life.
