The Beach Tulum Hotel

The Beach Tulum hotel far exceeded all of our expectations! My daughter and I just returned from the most relaxing vacation ever and it was thanks to the incredible experience we had at this hotel. The staff was amazing and took care of everything. The room was beautiful and fully stocked with anything we needed. The spa was excellent as well as the daily yoga classes and the yoga instructors. And the restaurants and bar were terrific. If you are looking for a small boutique hotel that takes customer service and satisfaction seriously, look no further than The Beach Tulum Hotel.

My stay at the hotel was truly unforgettable because of the extraordinary people who work there.

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth, kindness, and genuine care. I want to personally thank Vale, Ken, Nancy, Anna, Marisol, and Mariana from the concierge team — you were consistently attentive, patient, and supportive. You made me feel seen and welcomed every single day.

Aldo and David from the bellboys team, your professionalism and kindness never went unnoticed. You were always ready to help with a smile, and that means more than you know.

And to Carla, Zosimo, Ivan, Kenia, and Axel from the Caracol Bar team — you created such a beautiful atmosphere. The food, the service, the energy — everything was exceptional. You turned ordinary moments into special ones.

Each of you made me feel cared for, safe, and valued. I truly appreciate and love you all for the way you show up for your guests. You are not just employees — you are the heart and soul of this hotel.

Unfortunately, I must also share honest feedback regarding ownership. Due to a severe snowstorm in New York and flight cancellations, along with safety concerns locally, I was unexpectedly stranded in Tulum. This was not a voluntary extension of my trip. I was staying alone after my guest had already left for London, and I felt I had no real choice but to remain at the hotel.

During this emergency situation, I was charged significantly more than my original rate — nearly $1,000 per night for a room that had previously been $700. When my original room became unavailable, I was moved to another room at an even higher rate because it was considered more expensive, though this was not my choice. It felt as though I either had to accept the increase or have nowhere to stay.

As a returning guest, I had hoped for more flexibility and support during a time when I felt unsafe and stranded. Instead, I felt financially pressured in a vulnerable moment. That experience was deeply disappointing.

While this does not take away from the incredible service and humanity of the staff — who remain absolutely exceptional — it has made me reconsider returning in the future.

To the team: you are extraordinary, and you deserve recognition. You are the heart of this hotel. if I could give the stuff 10 stars, I would.

Our stay at The Beach Tulum was nothing short of amazing. The beachfront location is truly perfect — waking up steps from the ocean each morning felt like a dream. Having reserved beach beds made it even better, so we could fully relax without worrying about finding a spot.

The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, peaceful, and wonderfully quiet. Being adults-only created such a calm, serene atmosphere that made it easy to unwind. Our room was fantastic — comfortable, spacious, and thoughtfully designed for a luxurious stay.

What truly made the experience exceptional was the staff. Every single person we encountered was extremely friendly, courteous, and attentive. They went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcomed and taken care of.

The restaurant options were also outstanding, with delicious food throughout our stay. Our absolute favorite was Authentico — the pizza was so incredible that we ate there three times! It quickly became a highlight of our trip.

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and can’t wait to return. Highly, highly recommend!

The staff and the hotel facilities were fabulous. We travel often and have very high standards. This hotel was amazing. The location was perfect with everything we needed within walking distance.
The staff went out of there way our entire stay.
The room was spotless. The spa was amazing and clean. The common area were also exceptionally clean.
The hotel is expensive but it was worth every penny. The rooftop terrace room was perfect and there were two additional balconies.
Loved the hottub on the private rooftop. It allowed us an additional space to enjoy the sunshine and take late night hot tubs.
Immediately we were struck by the professionalism and friendliness of the staff, Always smiling, helpful and responsive.
The pool area was quiet and lovely. The beach was cleaned every morning and the dedicated beach bed took th stress off finding a good spot every morning. There was some minor noise from the beach club but it didn’t bother us.
Over all. The Beach was one of the best stays of any of our vacations. It was relaxation at a new level. We will come back time and time again!!

Truly an incredible experience. It’s a beautiful location right in the beach and our suite was lovely. The staff is incredible and you won’t be disappointed if you stay there.

Where should we start!
We used the trusted transportation from Cancun airport recommended by the hotel. Bresner, great communication clear instructions!

We were welcomed by the wonderful Vale and offered 2 welcome drinks!
We had reserved a 9 nights stay in a rooftop suite because we were told it provides more privacy but we initially chose this hotel wanting to open our door and be on the beach right away so we later upgraded to a deluxe suite and it was so amazing! Aldo can make everything possible! He made sure that everyday was a perfect day!

The rooftop suite is gorgeous and slightly bigger than the deluxe suite with a huge private terrace and of course a roof top with a jacuzzi tub a double lounger and 2 long chairs.
Our deluxe suite had a private lounge pool that was perfectly heated for this time of the year!
Both rooms had a hammock to lounge at the end of the day!

The decor is warm and authentic while the bed is so comfortable (and I’m really picky!) and the sheets and pillows are 5 star hotel quality!

Each room have their own wall unit AC so you can control the temperature and flow.

The nuts and Pringle’s were a nice touch!

The luxurious shower is fully equipped with body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Hand soap and lotion are also available next to the sink along with a basket of the most thoughtful item including natural bug spray and aloe Vera for sunburn! Great towel, slippers and the best bathrobe ever!! I looked up their website to buy one! ;)

2 yoga mats in every room and free yoga at 9.00 am, I never got to try it because we slept in and chilled in the morning enjoying the magical view of the ocean from our gigantic patio doors or ziggy’s beachfront tables!

Also included with your stay is à la carte breakfast at Ziggy’s or Fresco.
You can enjoy it at the restaurant or order room service in what’s app for a super fast delivery! But seeing Adolfo and Angel’s smile everyday was a heartwarming ! The level of service in the whole hotel is equal to Mon and were frequent travelers!

They also just opened the most amazing Italian restaurant for dinner! Best wood oven pizza and handmade fresh pasta! Wow! Unfortunately… they don’t deliver to the rooms to keep the quality impeccable, but you get to go meet Fernanda the manager, Axel and Roberto.

With all rooms, you have a Reserved sunbed and pillows just for you so no need to wake up at 5am to get a spot at the beach! Beach towels are placed in your room in a convenient beach bag with his and hers Flipflop if you need! All day service by our wonderful Axel Rene that stop by for a little chat and serving the best margaritas!

We signed up for 3 activities with the hotel: tequila and mezcal tasting with Zosimo was so entertaining and knowledgeable! He noticed we didn’t eat before and ordered us nachos and dips. So attentive and thoughtful!

Our next activity was with Carla for a ceviche class, again very knowledgeable and entertaining! We made 3 ceviche and they offered us an apetizer and 2 drinks so that’s well worth the price for a lunch for 2!

Then we had a wine tasting with Flaco. Again, very knowledgeable and beautiful personality! It was very interesting to discover the history of mexicain wines and he knew so much about the culture of wine too!

We enjoyed the Spa Naj Naay.
We had looked at other spa facilities in the area but when they told us guest of the hotel get 15% discount it made sens to try it and we were so pleased … We went back 3 times!! You can read my review in the spa page!

Locations was ideal to walk to some of the best restaurants outside the hotel . Some boutiques and a pharmacy less than 2 min walk .

We cannot recommend this hotel enough and we will definitely be back soon!!! Congratulations to all the staff and the owners that made this dream destination possible !

If you are looking for an adult only, serene, all inclusive beautiful hotel in Tulum…please book The Beach Tulum now! Close enough to walk to restaurants and other local businesses but far enough away from the more party/club like hotels.

The hotel design/decor made me feel like I was in a wellness spa. Quiet, clean, free morning yoga, complimentary breakfast from either of their two (delicious, perfect portions, fresh, local food) restaurants. We stayed in a suite with a lounge pool with our own entrance to the beach right out our back door. Aldo met us when our transportation (booked thru hotel, private and timely!) and took our bags to our room while we checked in. Did the same when we checked out. He was phenomenal and checked on us often.

But what really makes this hotel worth revisiting is the staff! From the front reception to the room service, spa staff, beach attendees….everyone was so nice and truly showed they wanted to cater to us and give us the vacation we came for. Quick to respond to requests (using WhatsApp). We did the tequila tasting on Tuesday night which was beyond what I had excepted (thank you Kenneth!!). The Caracol bar’s staff were accommodating and would bring your order to your room or your beach bed (thank you Axel, Zosimo, Clara - and I know I’m forgetting others!!). They all remembered our names and catered to our diet restrictions.

Feels like I have so much more to say and people to thank but in short- we WILL be back when we come to tulum. Won’t need to search for any other place.

Obviously beautiful in appearance and location. What sets this place apart is the attention to detail when it comes to customer service. Tons of “little things” that make you feel cared for and comfortable. Attentive staff but not obtrusive. Friendly genuinely helpful. They find a way to say “Si” if at all possible. Will definitely return and primarily because of the customer service.

We’ve returned from a delightful 6-night stay at Cabanas Tulum, a small boutique-like hotel on the ocean’s edge. Staff is superlative. Grounds are gorgeous and manicured. Rooms are small but totally adequate with each facing the ocean, although some may lack sight of the ocean. Our room was oceanfront, and we enjoyed a hot tub-like pool. Who needs a large room with this kind of panorama outside the full glass slider? The beach is gorgeous with a variety of beach furniture from which to choose for your stay.
We admired the white fences in the attached photo, which separated us from our neighbors. Nothing goes to waste here.
Beach bags, pillows and towels are included.
To give you an idea of how fantastic these people are, listen to this story. One night a favorite earring came off in the bedclothes. I looked and looked for it, but to no avail. When I returned from the day’s adventures, my lost earring was on the bureau, placed there by the maid, Magaly. Unbelievable.
Aldo was exceptionally helpful with our luggage. Ken was a welcoming and knowledgeable reception person. We know there were many others whose names we don't know.
Daily breakfast at Fresco’s is included in the fee for the room. The breakfast menu is extensive and delicious. We ventured outside the hotel for food, but you don’t need to. We found nothing better than the hotel restaurants and that includes a visit to a Michelin-rated place. As with the hotel staff, restaurant staff is superlative.
In both places, you are welcomed and made to feel like family. Hurry to this little piece of heaven on earth.

Aldo introduced us to the most luxurious hotel in the world the restaurants next door were fabulous and David and Leslie were so friendly in the spa and the staff is extremely friendly, march is the best time but any time is the best here at the Tulum Beach hotel!

This place was absolutely fabulous from the minute we drove up until the time we left. Super accommodating staff across the board, beautiful grounds and rooms, and fantastic food and drinks. We will go to The Beach every year from here on out. Thank you guys!!

Property is impeccable, rustic chic, well maintained. High quality in everything they do. Staff is friendly and amazing. Aldo our concierge and Axle our bartender treated us like old friends and made us feel so welcome. (and so many others as well!) We’ve been to several all inclusive resorts and wanted to try something different, and this set a new standard - 10x better than any all inclusive. Only 28 rooms here so they remember your name and it feels like family after just a few days. Beach is amazing, reserved beach beds and very attentive staff out there to move beds, umbrellas, etc. Best walkable beach with lots of interesting properties to check out on your walks both directions. Food on property was amazing at Ziggy’s and close walk to many great spots. We did the Yoga class 3 days, great way to start the day in between the sunrise and amazing fresh made to order breakfast - seriously the best breakfast ever. Got something different every day and it was all 10/10. We had a rooftop room, really cool to have 2 balconies and a rooftop hot tub. We were in room 215 and could look down into Ziggy’s and even enjoy their live music. Bad weather back home made us extend our stay one extra day and I was still not ready to leave this morning. We were here January 21-26 2026 and weather was perfect. You’re also so close to some great excursions like Tulum Ruins, Akumal bay snorkeling, and underground Cenotes - we highly recommend. All in all, sad to leave and can’t wait to come back. Nothing but great memories at The Beach Tulum!

My husband and I had an amazing experience at the beach tulum to celebrate our anniversary. The service from the concierge, bar, and beach area was outstanding. I loved how quiet and peaceful it was - it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. It was also nice to have the gym and hydrotherapy areas to ourselves. We also loved healthy breakfast options at fresco's. Location is also great, we were able to walk around to restaurants pretty easily. Thank you for a great stay!

I spent 7 days at The Beach Tulum and enjoyed every second. A few reasons for my 5 Star Review

1. The people: The entire staff is so kind and welcoming and really make the entire experience so enjoyable. I appreciated that they communicated by WhatsApp as it made any request (front desk, concierge, food orders to anywhere on site that I was from my room to my beach bed, and spa services) and they are so fast to respond. It’s so convenient!
2. The rooms are AMAZING! It was so nice spending hours on my patio in the hammock listening to the ocean, having room service on the sofa on the patio, enjoying the stars in the private hot tub on my rooftop, or just spending a lazy day in bed with the fresh ocean breeze filling the room.
3. The grounds were gorgeous and well-kept at all times. I loved having a private sunbed on the beach, and even though we didn’t spend any time at the pool, it made for a tranquil walk to our room.
3. All the food is amazing; we never got food anywhere else because there was such a great variety between the 2 restaurants.
4. It was nice that both the gym and spa circuit could be reserved so that you could have them privately to yourself
5. The daily yoga was fantastic (the yoga palapa was beautiful and captured the morning breeze perfectly) - it was nice to have a variety of instructors to experience different flows. I also participated in the sound healing they offered and would highly recommend it!

I’m sure I’m missing things but I truly enjoyed the time we spent there and would absolutely return to this hotel if we are ever back in Tulum!

The hotel was beautiful, albeit a bit primitive. The beach was devine and the staff extremely friendly. The downside is that we were unaware that it is in the middle of the party areas and the booming music seemed to never end. The food was 8+ stars and we probably enjoyed the drinks and food better than ARCA, which we found way overrated and overpriced. In closing, the hotel needs to be more transparent about the adjacent clubs with the booming music, the housekeeping staff needs better training and the only thing keeping this hotel from getting a better rating is elevating the service standards.

Wow! The hotel staff is truly five star, everyone at the front desk, also Aldo, Axle, Ivan, Zosimo! It was truly relaxing and our private rooftop was literally icing on the cake. Their restaurant, Ziggy’s is one of the better around! The hotel is right in the middle of Tulum but like an island of calm! We are already planning our return.
