Location was good. Breakfast was good. When the room doesn’t cool down enough to sleep it makes all of your other good

Living history in all aspects
Pros:

The property is situated in Bari's historic centre. It has been tastefully restored offering a number of rooms with modern decor and amenities. The rooms are spacious, airy and generally quiet. Breakfast, although basic, offers a good selection of local specialities which adds to the overall experience. Staff is helpful.

Cons:

Since the location of this property is in a historic centre and the property itself is a historic building, there are some challenges. Access is restricted and walking in with luggage is not an experience to cherish at all. There are solutions and other properties across Puglia have managed to solve successfully such issues.

Palazzo Calo
Pros:

Central location in the Old Town of Bari. Friendly and helpful staff in reception, at breakfast and in the restaurant. Food good at breakfast and excellent in the evening (need to book as restaurant open to non-residents). Good hotel and would recommend.

Cons:

The stairs up to the bed are steep and a bit scary esp at night if you need the bathroom. Would book a room all on one floor if we came again.

I had high expectations from the photos and description for our one night stay. I would not recommend this property.
Pros:

Well located. Staff helpful and responsive. Elevator.

Cons:

Needs an update and makeover. Awful lighting in the room. Loft sleeping area is inconvenient and stairs dangerous. Bed was terrible. Industrial chic meets old world, unfortunately this no longer works at this property.

Da localização. É um quarto charmoso

Cons:

O fato da cama ser em um andar superior não foi uma experiência agradável pra gente. O ar condicionado não resfriou o andar de cima e sentimos calor. Além disso é bem tenso toda vez que precisamos ir ao banheiro ter que descer as escadas principalmente de madrugada. Não tinham travesseiro extra.

Grosszügige, ruhige Zimmer mitten in der Altstadt und eine Dachterrasse. Top!
Pros:

Das Hotel liegt mitten in der Altstadt von Bari und bietet jeden Komfort. Die Zimmer sind sehr gross - zum Teil mit einer Galerie und Küche (mit Kaffeemaschine!). Auf der Dachterrasse kann man die Sicht über die Dächer der Stadt und die Kirchen bei einem Drink geniessen. Es hat dort sogar einen kleinen Pool - der war allerdings bei unserer Übernachtung just zu.

Cons:

Man kann nur zu bestimmten Zeiten zum Ausladen mit dem Auto bis vors Hotel fahren. Parkplätze hat es keine in der Nähe, was bei viel Gepäck etwas schwierig werden kann.

Palazzo Calo - we will be back.
Pros:

Great location in Bari old town. Staff friendly, helpful and professional especially in the rooftop restaurant which is very good. Rooms clean, comfortable and well equipped. The split level rooms are well done.

Cons:

The stairs to the bed are a little daunting for us oldies.
