From 09/11/2023 at 12:00 noon, it has been decided to reverse the direction of travel in Nieuwstraat and Scherpe-Steenstraat.
From that afternoon onwards you must enter the street via the Collegelaan/Noordervest intersection.
You can only exit via the Kiezel Kleine-Brogel/Noordervest intersection. This is a 9-month pilot project.
We are converting the dead-end street behind the Oud Stadthuys into a residential area. This means that parking is no longer allowed there.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. There was some dust in the room, specifically over the bed. Curtains were damaged not closing properly allowing sun light in early morning.

Tip: misschien een extra koffiemachine zetten in de ontbijtzaal. Eentje is te weinig met lange aanschuifrijen voor een klein kopje koffie.

We hebben het ervaren als een gast vrij hotel en erg schoon..
Pros:

De locatie veraste ons, zo midden in het centrum. We hebben er een heerlijk verblijf gehad..
Bedden waren goed en alle benodigdheden aanwezig op de kamer..
Het ontbijt was voortreffelijk er ontbrak niets aan..

Complete kamer met weinig sfeer maar met super uitgebreid ontbijt.
Pros:

Het ontbijt wordt geserveerd op de verdieping van de naast het hotel gelegen brasserie en is zeer uitgebreid. Onze fietsen konden we in de parkeergarage stallen. De hotelkamer was compleet wat betreft faciliteiten.

Cons:

We hadden een kamer met een hoog raam dat uitzicht bood op een dichte muur boven de inrit van de parkeergarage. Behalve het gebrek aan uitzicht, was er ook weinig daglicht. Dat gaf de kamer een zeer depressieve uitstraling. En hoewel de kamer alle beloofde faciliteiten had, waren die op een geforceerde manier in de kamer gepropt. In het algemeen vond ik de kamer sfeerloos.

Prijs kwaliteit niet in verhouding.
Cons:

Boeking was niet doorgekomen waardoor een kamer moest worden gezocht. Eerste kamer was zonder bed voor de kinderen. Teruggegaan en andere kamer gekregen die serieus afgeleefd was. Veel geld voor de kamer die we gekregen hebben. Niet te vergelijken met de foto’s.

L'amabilité du personnel

Cons:

Le fait que personne ne sache parler français dans un établissement 4 étoiles.
Qu'à aucun moment l'accès aux équipements lié aux étoiles (sauna par exemple) ne m'ai été proposé.....la prochaine fois j'y réfléchirai à deux fois avant d'investir une sommes non négligeable dans un établissement de ce standing.
Que dire aussi de la chambre où le nombre de prises électrique se compte sur les doigts d'une main, à une époque où il y a de plus en plus de monde qui pour des raisons de santé, doivent dormir avec un appareil..

Prima verblijf tijdens een bezoek aan Peer, Centraal gelegen en prima restaurant

Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Zeer uitgebreid ontbijt met vers warm brood. Prima restaurant ook. Ideaal als je niet meer wilt rijden na het inchecken. Prima ondergrondse prive parking

Cons:

op de kamer: Leeslampjes bij het 2-persoonsbed veel te laag, maar kunnen makkelijk op het matras gezet worden. Koelkast op de kamer is leuk, maar niet stil.
