Disappointing Service at the Front Desk

I am writing this to highlight a disappointing interaction I had with the front desk staff, specifically Henry. As someone who works in the hospitality industry myself, I was taken aback by his tone and lack of professional manner.

On February 8th, around 11:45pm. I stopped by the desk to see if the market had toothpaste available. Henry informed me they did not, but provided a small, single-use packet. When I realized it was only enough for one person and politely asked for a second one (as there are two guests in my room), he responded with an audible sense of annoyance. He remarked that I "should have asked for two from the beginning," as if I were expected to know the exact size of the packet he was handing me before seeing it.

Instead of a helpful interaction, I was made to feel like a bother. A guest should never be made to feel guilty for asking for a basic necessity. I hope management provides additional training on guest relations and tone, as this interaction significantly impacted my experience at this property.

Je ne recommande pas cet hôtel aux familles qui ne supportent pas l’odeur de cannabis

Le personnel qui a réagi rapidement à mes demandes. Le réfrigérateur est grand. Il y avait du pain sans gluten au déjeuner.

Cons:

Dans le corridor et dans la chambre sentait beaucoup de cannabis. Odeur non supportable surtout quand on est avec des enfants. Comme la chambre n’est pas bien isolée du corridor (fentes entre la porte et le cadre de la porte) toute l’odeur va dans les chambres. Nous avons demandé le changement d’étage et de la chambre à 23h. Nous avons réservé pour trois jours et les serviettes n’ont pas été remplacées pour ces jours, aucun nettoyage de la chambre ou des toilettes. La deuxième chambre que nous avons eu n’était pas bien nettoyée. Très déçus de notre séjour.

Stay was overall really great!
Pros:

Location was perfect and close to the highway.

Cons:

Pool was “down for maintenance” and one of the reasons we chose this hotel. Kids were very disappointed they couldn’t use the facilities.
