It was good to stay but there is fungal smell. However, staffs try to do their best.

Thank you to the staff J's Five Two, especially Amit and Ramesh, for arranging breakfast for me at around noon, almost two hours after the scheduled breakfast timings.

One aspect the hotel should look into is the working of its fire alarm. There was a mini fire in the site opposite the hotel on the night of July 20, 2018 and the fire fighting services had to be rushed to douse the fire. There was a lot of smoke in the entire area. However, no fire alarm in the hotel was activated to alert its guests. Thankfully, there was no loss or injury caused to anyone. This event should help the hotel to review its fire protection policies.

Stayed at J's Five Two after almost one and a half years. Except for the name of the restaurant, nothing seems to have changed. Same friendly staff, same clean rooms and bathrooms, same service, and - as always- good value for money. All the very best.

Hotel was located at a junction from where you can go to most places in Chennai easily. Marina beach, Mylapore are all withing 10 minutes drive.
Staff was very courteous and efficient. Only fault i saw was bit cramped kind of rooms and even reception area.
Breakfast in restaurant was good. A/c was bit of a downer. Maybe Chennai heat was beyond its capacity! Clogged bathroom was cleaned n cleared quickly.
Just beware of taking rooms facing the junction. Way too much honking of Chennai is a challenge fkr your ears in those rooms.

Good Hotel in a good Location to see the city and enjoy the holiday

Decent area of the city. Hotel was priced about right for this part of town. Service was ok. Early check-in was easy. Needs more attention to detail. No room service provided one day. breakfast was mediocre, but probably ok for the price.

We had a lovely stay here, the location is great & very accessible. The staff went above & beyond to make our stay pleasant. The rooms were just like in the pictures & are great value for money. Highly recommended!!

Front office staff had positive disposition & willing to assist to the best possible.
OK place for a night or two when on work.
Not a place to stay with family.
Room rate substantially higher compared to better properties.
Shower has no separate glass enclosure. Clubbed with toilet. Makes the whole toilet wet.
Toilet seats were worn out.
Bidet or bum gun was leaking & in wrong position
Breakfast was cold & insipid.
Took 20 minutes for a dosa with just a couple of guests dining!
Dining area & staff lack basic hygiene. Interior of cafe very garish.
Plastic melamine cups for tea/coffee are a real put off.
Melamine plates were scratched & soiled.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. A good 3 star hotel in a "posh" part of town i was told. I did not feel it was posh but the area was alright. It felt very safe and the level of safety at the hotel were high. I stayed a week here and the rooms where cleaned and well done. Comfortable beds, nice decoration and not too much traffic noice. Pretty good breakfast buffet in the morning. The staff in this hotel were polite and serviceminded. The General Manager MR. K. Sugumaran was nice´and friendly. Had a likeable personality. He made a good impression. The hotel seems to be very well organized and probably comes from great leadership from the top. I'ts not a luxuary hotel but well worth the money. There are also a busstop just 10 meters away. Bus 21 G takes you to the central Chennai and Marina Beach.

Safe, clean place to sleep on a business trip. WiFi works well in the room. Undergoing renovations (Winter 2017), which hopefully will take care of the minor cosmetic blemishes. Room service and breakfast are OK, not great. You can go diagonally across the street or to the pub downstairs for a broader selection. Definitely worth the price, good budget hotel.

Whenever I am in Chennai I would like to stay at Treebo J's Five Two. The team there tries to make it as comfortable as possible and they are not intrusive.
Also, I during my last say I forgot few of my belongings there and when I inquired they responded promptly and returned everything. I will recommend this to any woman traveling alone on business or otherwise. You feel very secure here as compare to other Treebo spaces I have stayed in Chennai. Kudos to J's.

However the only downside is the restaurant. They need to step up with service and grooming.

We liked the room, the cleanliness, extra bed for third person, size of the bed, restaurant on the 1st floor, staff, location, price/rate. I'll choose or recommend to my friends for sure.

It was a pleasant stay, only one challenge is Wi-Fi is horrible. Cleanliness and services are good. There is no landmark to reach this hotel.

I've checked in at J's Five Two over half dozen times in the last one month or so and I've no reason for any complaints so far. The rooms and bathrooms are impeccably clean and the tariff is very good value for money, especially considering the premium location the hotel is situate in.

On my most recent visit, I was away from the hotel from 6 am to 11.30 am. I requested breakfast on my return and was very pleased when the staff went out of its way to arrange for breakfast for me, way beyond the breakfast timings of the hotel. Special mention to Mr. Vetri, Mr. Ramesh and Mr. Amit for their courteous and helpful service. Kudos and all the best to them and to the hotel.
