Location location location. Perfect local. Apartment was clean but aged beds were uncomfortable

Property looked a little rough. Not super clean.

Enjoyed that there was so much to do on the property, just wish the checkout time was a little later

We stayed for about a week. Nice property, small minor things in the unit but all around nice place. Some pools were closed due to weather (which is expected). Still managed to take a dip and relax. Walking distance to many places to eat and shop!

Beyond nice, friendly, and clean. A ton to do without leaving we will definitely be back

I loved that that we had access to ocean side and bay side. The sliding glass door to the balcony was sticking. I reported it twice, and i pulled my neck muscles but they did not come to fix.

Absolutely wonderful! And the hotel next door, being able to use their facilities made it even better!

Our “ocean view room” however was more a “hotel next door view.”

Nothing in the hotel to hanging over, you have to trough the garbage, and they don’t clean the room until you check out 😠

Property is showing its age. Villa room with one queen and sofabed needed a little more cleaning. Sofa cushions had a few stains and AC vents had a lot of dust. Other than that... being at the beach most of our time was spend off property. Lazy rives was the nicest part.

I DO NOT recommend staying here. We got in late because of our flights and our room was disgusting. Bleach stains all over the quilt on the bed, dirty sheets, dust all over the ceiling fan, a layer of grease on the top of the fridge. It was so gross, we had to rent another hotel room. Called their emergency number and they had no other rooms available. The next day I called when they opened and could not get ahold of a manager until after 1pm. When I did she told me they had another room we could look at. Went to the other room and there was MOLD on the ceiling and smelled like mildew. This was after they denied a refund, when we did not even stay the first night and paid $150 for a night at another hotel. I had to fight for a refund all day and I guess the representative at the desk could not call the property owner? So we wasted an entire day of our honey fighting to get back the $1400 we spent for a "nice" hotel. After hours of calling my bank to dispute the charge as fraud, calling expedia (also no help) we got a refund minus $150 cancellation fee, which we should not of been charged. Overall the worst experience of my life and I would not let my dog stay here.

The property was well kept and the staff was very nice. I didn't like that I paid for a wrist band for the pool area and had to give it back or pay another $20

I liked having a safe parking deck with easy access to the room. I wished i had gotten a bigger room and better view of ocean. but overall is was good.

Covered parking was very convenient. Over the highway walking bridge was unique. Dislikes: No phone in room. Elevators were closed for over 24 hours with no handicap access or notification. No broom or dustpan in room. And floor was dirty and sticky. Needed mopping.

Pretty good stay overall,my family was happy and it was a good vacation

Pool options were great and there was easy access to the beach. The room furnishings could have been in better condition and need cleaning.

We really enjoyed the different pools to choose from as well as walking to the beach. The beach staff renting chairs & umbrellas were awesome! Enjoyed the lazy river. Only real problem was the uncomfortable bed. It was ok, but should have been nicer. Close to the boardwalk & pier. Elevators seem to break down often, but were repaired quickly. Skybridge between bayside & gulfside was great & very helpful.

Everything was right there. The beaches were clean and nice, and the pier next door was great; we seen dolphins, sharks, sea turtles and more!

My family enjoyed being close to the beach. We also enjoyed the amenities offered at Destin West like the lazy river, various pools as well as walking distance to the Broadwalk/pier and convenience to the grocery store. The Destin West staff was friendly and accommodating. Great trip, looking forward to our next one!
