La pulizia e l’accoglienza
La posizione a ridosso di una strada molto trafficata
Very welcoming friendly staff. Clean and offered a luxury feel. The food was good. Felt safe.
The menu was the same for both the bar and the restaurant. I stayed over a week so the menu choice was poor. No water fill stations ! Needed to ask for water frequently. No entertainment or relaxing cocktail area. No outside space dedicated to non smoking. ( it did say but not adhered to ). Outside space to enjoy the weather would be good
Gym was decent
This hotel cannot be 5 star, first of all for my whole entire week stay I had aircon that didn’t work, you can’t control it it the room, so sometimes I would wake up to it being 19 degrees and freezing, or 26 degrees and sweating, you never knew what you were going to get, the hotel just told me it’s how it is in the hotel, I have never been to a hotel in my life where you can’t change the aircon. The staff door next to my room was constantly noisy and banging all the time.
The rooms definitely need a bit of decorating as I think it’s been some years since it’s been done, very tatty carpets and walls.
The room service sometimes comes with salt and pepper and sometimes not, and just on any old random tray, There are no glasses in the bathroom to rinse after brushing your teeth, no spoons to stir your tea or coffee with, very bad quality slippers, no dressing gown, key card was never working so always having to run back down to reception, no USB port in room to charge phone, hotel is on a high way so constant noisy traffic and prayer call that wakes you up at 5am!
I double checked with reception twice about my check out day and they confirmed it, then the day before I was meant to check out they said I had to check out as they had got it wrong and they were fully booked, so I packed up my bags in about 15 mins, then I was told by the company who had booked it they did actually have a room, but they never told me, instead they watched me struggle with all my bags knowing I had no where to go.
The only decent thing about this hotel was the gym, it had old equipment but had everything you need for a workout, you just have to put up with the Turkish men staring at you, I just got used to it in the end!
The staff at breakfast were always very friendly though, but reception staff need to speak better English.
This is not 5 star!!! Maybe a 3 star hotel.
My wife and I recently spent a few days here, and frankly, there’s nothing to complain about—and believe me, I know a thing or two about complaints.
The room did exactly what it was elected to do: perfectly functional and kept exceptionally clean. The location is a real asset if you enjoy shopping; the malls are close by, and on Sunday, this quiet residential neighborhood comes alive with fantastic street markets. The only drawback? The nearby highway is a bit like government—it just keeps running 24/7.
However, they more than make up for it with the cuisine, which is absolutely first-rate. Getting to Old Town is also a breeze—just a brisk 9-minute walk to the metro, and you’re there in about 40 minutes.
All in all, we highly recommend it. It gets a big thumbs-up from us!
