Dear Motel 6 Representative,
I am writing to formally address several issues I experienced during my recent stay.
First, I would like to acknowledge that the gentleman at the front desk was very helpful. Unfortunately, the overall experience was unacceptable.
The room conditions were poor, with significant dust under the beds. Additionally, housekeeping staff were loudly talking outside rooms at approximately 8:00 a.m., which was disruptive.
More concerning was the excessive noise from the room above us, which continued until approximately 3:30 a.m. We contacted the front desk multiple times and were told someone would address the issue. Despite this, the noise continued, and no effective resolution was provided. As a result, we only got about two hours of sleep.
There was also a serious issue with our reservation. While attending a wedding, I received a call stating that I had a single-room reservation for Friday. I had previously called days in advance to correct this to a two-bed room. Although the front desk adjusted the room, I was never informed that I needed to contact the original booking company to cancel the initial reservation.
As a result, I was incorrectly charged as a “no-show” for a room I did not use, while I was in fact staying in the corrected two-bed room. At no point was I advised of any additional steps required on my end. Had I been properly informed, I would have taken immediate action to avoid this charge.
I strongly request that you review the call recordings, which will confirm that I was not instructed to contact any third party to cancel the original reservation.
Given the service failures—including cleanliness, noise disturbances, lack of follow-through by staff, and improper billing—I am requesting:
A refund for the incorrect no-show charge
Consideration of compensation for the disrupted stay
I would appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and a resolution as soon as possible.

I had to work for Valentine's Day, but Daniel at the front desk made sure I had a wonderful surprise. My partner sent me flowers via DoorDash, but it was Daniel who put water in the vase, set them up on a table in my room, and actually signed the card for me!!!!! I hope his boss sees this review, because who else goes through that kind of effort for their guests at a MOTEL 6?????
The wifi didn't really work. The shower was cracked, patched, and wonky, but it's a Motel 6. They also only provide 2 bars of soap. No shampoo at all.

Terrible water pressure in sink, took a long time to heat up. Beds very lumpy (both, had to try both to chose where to sleep to make my back hurt less. REALLY bad is I was there 4 nights and NO cleaning, even WITH request. No trash emptying, had to change my own toilet rolls. When I stay in a hotel, I expect my $$ to go to daily room cleaning! Cracks in walls, paint peeling.

The complimentary coffee was crap, the mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable. I saw a drug baggie with powder residue on the ground near the pool, where a lot of kids were swimming. I can't be sure what was in it, I'm not a cop and I can't test it, but it was very suspicious.
