Pros:

I had a very disappointing experience at Motel 6 Morro Bay. After driving for about four hours, I checked in around 9:00 PM expecting a basic, comfortable stay.

Unfortunately, several issues immediately arose. The shower did not have hot water, and the sink had very low water pressure due to a partially closed valve.

The most concerning issue was the cleanliness of the bed. When I checked the sheets, I found disposable bed pads underneath with visible yellow stains, clearly indicating that the bedding had not been properly changed after the previous guest. This was extremely unsanitary and unacceptable.

I contacted the front desk right away, but I was told nothing could be done because the hotel was fully booked. As a result, my friend and I were forced to share one bed, since the other was unusable. I was unable to sleep the entire night. The next morning, I tried to address the issue again, but no explanation or assistance was provided.

This stay did not meet even the most basic standards of cleanliness or customer service. I paid for a service that was simply not delivered.

Pros:

Location was fantastic, it was pet friendly so my dog was welcomed there. The room was very clean.

The staff was amazing but the bed sheets need to be cleaned.
Pros:

The front desk employee Deepak went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and helped me get into my room when I had an issue with the key.

Cons:

The sheets in the bed had blood stains on them and I don’t know if they were changed.
