Comfortable, clean & great amenities
Pros:

Very clean with comfortable beds, compact but everything you need.
The foyer cafe/bar area was a nice warm space to sit for a coffee, snack, drinks or meal. Plenty of onsite parking & a couple of EV chargers in the carpark. Handy to everything.

Cons:

Nothing, everything was great.

Probably won’t stay again despite my enjoyment of the artwork and vibes. No value for money and room too small.
Pros:

Clean, good vibe, hotel reception staff were lovely

Cons:

Room too small - I had to move furniture to operate the blinds.
Restaurant manager was rude- not enough staff for number of patrons - service was terrible.
The price for the room was highway robbery.

quirky stay
Pros:

The facilities were nice, though the layout was a little odd with two bathrooms. It seemed like two separate rooms with an open joining door, letting us access both. Overall, it was a nice, quirky accommodation. I loved having access to a car charger; that was a big positive.

Cons:

The foyer smelt like fried food, perhaps because a dining room sat right next to the lobby. I thought the whole reception area and lobby were a bit too crowded.

Neat & clean, but would not stay here again.
Pros:

Close to the event we were attending. Neat & clean. Good shower pressure. Comfortable bed. Charging station for our EV car. Cafe in the lobby was ok. Microwave in the room which is unusual these days.

Cons:

The room was disappointingly small for the price range. For 2 people there is nowhere to sit other than 1 chair in the corner. The room has no luggage stand meaning you have to put suitcases on the floor or the one chair, taking up limited space that you have. The hotel has “room service”, but this means you can order, but you have to come to the lobby to collect your meal yourself, then there is nowhere to sit in your room to eat, no table or chairs, unless you sit on the very tiny balcony. In the middle of winter, that’s not nice. The bed was only a double, so if you are over 5’8”, your feet will hang over the bed. The tv is not adjustable and it is off centre to the bed so your have to constantly tilt your head to watch. The balcony was tiny, about 1.5 metres by 40cm. This is a disappointing property for the Mercure brand.
