Splendido Hotel

Localização excelente, quartos com vista para o teatro Solís, próximo a diversas atrações, bares, cafés, restaurantes, museus. Se estiver de carro, pode ser difícil estacionar na rua, e é preciso pagar a tarifa. O local é acessível por escadarias, então considere isso também na sua escolha. O quarto com banheiro privativo era excelente, varanda com vista da rua, cama muito confortável, roupa de cama limpa e cheirosa. Há um espaço comum no hotel para fazer as refeições. O único ponto que pode incomodar é o barulho, mas de resto a experiência foi maravilhosa, vou voltar com certeza!

Todo bastante bien la calidad precio aceptable sin embargo el grave error es que no tenía ascensor encima me toca el último piso pero sin embargo aceptaron la cancelación anticipada de las siguientes noches sin cargo por este motivo con lo cual me pareció muy honesto

Nice hostel, friendly and helpful staff. Replied to my emails to arrange airport pick up and have 24 hour check in which is great.
Bathrooms were clean with hot water. My room was clean and had a small balcony and there's a sink in the room. There is also a kitchen and water dispenser. Centrally located and close to the beach. Only issue was my room door had a gap which let in a lot of noise and smoke smell from other guests when they were sat out in the common area smoking and laughing.

Right in the centre of Montevideo! Opposite the Teatro Solis! This place has so much character and is a great base from which to explore the city! Cafes and restaurants are downstairs and there’s a communal kitchen which is super handy! Literally 4 mins to La Rambla which is a great way to spend an afternoon! The furniture is vintage and the ceilings are high! Those of an artistic bend will be inspired by this place! I stayed for 5 nights and when I return to Montevideo, this is where I will stay

Hotel simples mas com estilo, situado em um edifício antigo muito bem localizado na cidade velha. Perto de muitas atrações turísticas, bares, pubs e restaurantes. Equipe muito solícita e agradável. Sem luxos, mas bem confortável; tem uma cozinha de uso coletivo. Wi-Fi ok.

This hotel could be nice and attractive, but instead is dirty and poorly lit throughout. There is a mild odor of smoke. Though she eventually did answer my questions, the staff member who checked me in was rude and quite scattered. Walls were thin and I could hear someone snoring in the adjacent room. Positive points were the central location, beautiful view of the theater, good WiFi, good security, and hot water.

Un lugar para pasarlo muy bien, con una gran atención del personal de recepción y una excelente ubicación. En algunos sectores le falta algo de mantenimiento, pero no le quita encanto al lugar. Recomendable

Mantienen el edificio y las instalaciones en buenas condiciones.

６日間泊まりましたが、終わりの２日間しかベッドメーキングと部屋の掃除がしてもらえませんでした。シャワーと洗面所の水圧と水量が小さいのが残念です。部屋に冷蔵庫があるのとキッチンでお湯が使えたのは助かりました。

Localização ótima, próximo de tudo na cidade velha. Frente ao teatro e na mesma rua que pubs. Hotel antigo e sem luxos. Equipe atenciosa e simpática. Sem café da manhã com cozinha disponível. Para ficar poucos dias cumpriu bem.

A good choice if you are looking for a budget hotel with character. The staff are friendly and warm, the location is great, and there are authentic art deco and other antiques throughout the hotel, including the rooms, which are all different. The sheets and towels were clean, though definitely not luxurious, and if you are using a shared bathroom, you have it all to yourself. There’s a kitchen for guests to use and the hotel feels like a mix of a hostel and a hotel. It’s funky for sure, so if you’re looking for the predictability and consistency of the Holiday Inn, then go stay there. However if you like experiencing quirky budget hotels with character, that make you feel like you’re in an interesting movie, you’ll enjoy the Splendido.

Friendly staff, gone above and beyond to assist me in so many ways.

The staff was great... Friendly, helpful, and able to tell me where to go to find interesting things to do. The hotel is located above a bar street though, and the nights were a highlighter someone who isn't into the bar scene.

O hotel é muito antigo por tanto o conforto fica limitado ao rústico. O quarto em que ficamos condiz com a idade do hotel, digo em aparência, a cama é bem confortável e o chuveiro é quente e agradável. Localizado em uma rua "badalada" de quinta a domingo segundo informações na recepção, informações que acreditamos, pois, em uma terça feira era uma das poucas ruas da cidade velha que haviam bares abertos. Tem um clima de casa de filme de terror, a decoração é bem interessante, os quadros são "macabros/engraçados". Uma observação me parece que a caixa de esgoto fica bem na entrada, no início das escadas do hotel, senti um cheiro de banheiro com desinfetante, mas não é nada insuportável e aceitável considerando que a construção é de 1901. Ressalto o bom cheiro e a limpeza das roupas de cama, toalhas e sabonetes, tudo muito cheiroso mais até que em outros hotéis de várias estrelas. Em suma vale a pena a estadia, os trabalhadores são gentis, educados, pacientes e a localização é excelente.

Absolutely stunning character-filled hotel in Ciudad Vieja. We had a beautiful room with a small balcony that overlooked cafes and Teatro Solis was just across the street. Our room was large, had its own bathroom, mini-fridge, tv, and (although it was listed as a full-sized bed) a king-sized bed. The staff was beyond friendly.

This wouldn't be a hotel for everyone though. If you're looking for the newness of a Marriott or Hilton, you won't find it here. Personally, we thought the character of this building was much better. Very tall ceilings, doors, and window openings which are consistent with the feel of Ciudad Viaja. You could walk to everything you would need.

We loved it!

This is not a knock on the hotel but something to be aware of ... No elevator (we did have to climb stairs to get to our room), no parking (except at check-in & check-out), and no hairdryer in the bathroom. I didn't ask for a hairdryer at the front desk though. They may have had one there.

The hotel has an amazing location next to the central square of the old town of Montevideo with a great view of the Solis Theatre opposite from the balcony. The building is a very grand, old, ornate building and very interesting and unique.

This is a hostel/hotel so there is a kitchen and dining area which is very useful.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming and give tips and suggestions of things to see in Montevideo which is great.

The only downside is that the hotel is next to a nightclub, so if your room is next to the club on a weekend as mine was, it was very loud all night, even with earplugs, so hard to get sleep.

Otherwise this is a great, budget hotel in a fantastic location and would consider staying again.

The staff was marvelous. The location perfect.

古い施設なのと、掃除が行き届いてないので、清潔感がない。天井が高いのは好感が持てるが部屋に蚊がいて6カ所刺された。眠れなかった！
