An Amazing Stay in Viana do Castelo (+Super Delicious Breakfast)
Pros:

I LOVED this hotel. They had everything we needed for an amazing stay in Viana do Castelo. I just wished I could have stayed longer. Their dinner options were great, cooked to perfection by the chef. Wine options were amazing too. And the breakfast was one of the best we've had for our entire trip, from North to South of Portugal.

The bedroom was very comfortable, even for a small size. Great shower, comfortable bed. Everything very clean and organized.

We were very satisfied with the entire experience and with the staff, that made sure we would feel welcomed at all times. Great place to stay when visiting Sanctuary of the Sacred Heart of Jesus (Santuário do Sagrado Coração de Jesus).

Ein geschmackvoll gestaltetes Haus mit schönem, komfortablen Zimmer. Sehr reichliches Frühstück das von Live Klaviermusik begleitet wurde. Zum Abschied gab es noch Blümchen für die Dame.

Muito confortável o quarto é sempre muito limpo.Pequeno almoço bom, mas os empregados não deixavam nem passar 1 minuto depois das 10h e começavam logo a recolher o pequeno almoço, mesmo estando pessoas na sala ainda a comer

Pequeno almoço bom, limpeza impecável e bem localizado. As funcionárias Jessica e Shaiene, que foram muito simpáticas conosco.

Cons:

Assim que cheguei não senti muita simpatia vinda dos recepcionistas como foram com hóspedes estrangeiros que haviam chegado na minha frente. E não fui avisada em momento algum que eu teria que comprar touca para piscina, nem quando eu cheguei e nem no momento da reserva pelo Booking. Mesmo passando pela recepção só fui avisada quando já estava pronta para entrar na piscina, e não faz sentido venderem toucas, pelo menos que o valor como caução! Acabei não entrando.
Enfim, me arrependi de não ter voltado no Hotel Fábrica de Chocolate, senti mais simpatia vinda dos funcionários.

We would definitely stay there again!
Pros:

Stayed for 3 nights.
Beautiful building in an excellent location. Friendly staff, clean and well maintained. Facilities were tastefully decorated while keeping the original charm of the hotel.
Lots of breakfast options and fresh choices.
We stayed in the 2 story penthouse suite and balcony had our own hot tub, sitting area with table chairs and sofa with amazing view of the river.
Free public parking across from the hotel.

Amazing hotel
Pros:

Outstanding standard, owner did amazing job

Cons:

1. Absolutely unnecessary call from reception about second person. Woke me up, just to tell me so obvious thing like to register my friend? So I’m rested after my trip and she just called.
2. When my friend arrived, he had alergic reaction to flowers outside. He started to have a breath problems, instead of care from the lady on reception duty. She asked him to breathe normally.

Netter Aufenthalt , sehr gut gelegenes Hotel
Pros:

Morgens ein toller Klavierspieler ( Pianist) zum Frühstück, wo gibt es das noch auf dem Jakobsweg ? Sehr gutes Frühstück. Praktisch in der Altstadt gelegen mit Fußläufiger Anbindung zum Altstadtzentrum.Viano do Castelo lädt zum Verweilen ein. Tolles Städtchen.
