Elevator is broken, and room is not fully furnished.
Pros:

We booked as we saw this property had been recently renovated.
Our room was on the second floor, and the elevator was out of service. I am a senior, and a working elevator is important.
We opened our room,,,and was surprised to see the first half of the room completely devoid of any furniture or decor. It made the room look/feel strange.
The front desk person was very nice at check in, and the breakfast was ok.

Exceeds expectations
Pros:

Staff is kind and efficient. Beds are clean and comfortable, netflix works well on the tv, and the breakfast in the morning was actually so good. I thought there was just yogurt & oatmeal but there are sausage patties, mini cheesy omelets, scrambled eggs, and biscuits! I’m impressed with this stay overall. It's right off the highway so very easy to travel everywhere. Only complaint is that my room refrigerator wasn’t very cold, which mildly impacted my stay.

Good for the price
Pros:

Fit into the “usual” for a Fairfield Inn.
Clean room, comfortable bed and pillows. Breakfast was the normal offerings.

Cons:

The room was dirty when we arrived, floor needed vacuumed, shower was dirty with hair and scum. There were wires hanging from bottom on the ac unit inside the room. Our room was never cleaned or new linens brought in for our weekend stay. We had to go to the restroom in the hallway for more toilet paper because the room had very little on the roll and should have been replaced when the room was last cleaned. Overall not very pleased with the stay for the price we pay, and then the staff doesn’t know anything about state employee discounts and kept telling us it wasn’t offered when we called ahead before booking to make sure it was available.

Good location, Bring you own blanket.
Pros:

It was a modern facility in a good location. They allowed me to check in an hour early.

Cons:

Started off by trying to charge me twice for my room. The blanket and comforter looked like they haven’t been washed in months. The climate control barely worked, froze my ass off because I wasn’t going to use a nasty blanket. So I don’t get good rest. The breakfast was nasty. Value for price was terrible.

Everything is always great at Fairfield. It is by far the best hotel in this price range. Always consistent with no surprises. Great breakfast, rooms and staff always.

Clean, comfortable and mostly quiet.
Pros:

Enjoyed having breakfast available, room was comfortable and clean.

Cons:

We were awakened early one morning by an alarm that went off in the room next to ours. It persisted. Despite hotel staff confirming someone was in room and knocking on door, no one responded. Alarm continued. Annoying to say the least.
