Food good, location very good.
Nice hotel very clean and well kept
The bedroom was a good size and had everything you could need
The food was fantastic we had an excellent evening meal and the breakfast was just what we needed to set us up for the day
It's a pity there aren't any truly accessable rooms as I would like to return with my wife who uses a mobility scooter
The staff were lovely
The hotel is located on the opposite side of the lake , very dangerous road to try and get across if you want to walk anywhere. My mum has a mobility scooter and almost impossible to get her across the road .
Conveniently located for visiting the area, this was our first visit the Lake District. We had a warm welcome by all staff as well as throughout our stay, we enjoyed the breakfast choices and had a pleasant evening meal. Our room was clean and comfortable with tea/coffee facilities. Dog friendly hotel and although we don’t have pets the ones that were staying were well behaved and had segregated dining area.
Only slight downside possibly due to age of property was we could hear some noise throughout the night from other guests t.v and very creaky flooring when moving around.
Staff were amazing. Everyone extremely friendly and rally WANTED to help!

All of the staff were super friendly. Steve was especially tentative. The bed was very comfy and the room was gorgeous.
