Koh Ma Beach Resort

Perfekt, wenn man es abends ruhig mag und das Meer gerne direkt vor der Tür hat.
Ohne Roller / Taxi ist man allerdings kaum in der Lage, die Gegend zu erkunden.
Zimmer sind zweckmäßig, aber sauber.

Great location on the beach

Great staff great location

Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt. Wir waren 3 Tage im Anfang November dort. Da noch Nebensaison war, war es sehr ruhig und leer - was Fluch und Segen zugleich ist. Einige Restaurants/Bars in der Umgebung hatten geschlossen.
Das Personal ist freundlich, die Lage des Resorts traumhaft - alles in allem empfehlenswert.

Iso huone.Osittainen meri näköala.Kiva terassi ja siellä kuivaus teline.Huoneessa todella omaperäinen vessan ovi ratkaisu.Liukuovi toimi samalla tosi isona peilinä.Iso uima-allas melkein rannassa.Altaalla hyvin tilaa aurinko pedeille.Paljon vihreää.

Lovely area, very comfortable and clean guest rooms. Staff could be more efficient and professional, some training is required.

Amazing place

Unless you want to stay at the resort, there is not much to do around. The rooms are nice and spacious for families.

Great location right on the beach, sunset view is amazing, room was really nice with super comfy beds and nice fresh linens and towels. Housekeeping was excellent.

The downside of this hotel is the beach bar / pool area. The music is up so loud all day and just playing the same songs on repeat - can be heard even when snorkelling as it is so loud. The staff at the beach bar were not very polite and you must pay for umbrella and chairs even if you are a guest of the hotel which was disappointing compared to other hotels in the area.

The hotel was nice and my room was steps away from the beach. The front desk staff is great but the bar/waiter staff is horrible. The young man with the bun hair cut is the wrong person to be running a bar restaurant. Very rude and is toxic to the entire staff. If I owned a restaurant or bar on the beach where you pay a little more the he would not be the one I would would want representing my brand. The pool was like a sauna as well. With all this being said it os a great hotel. Nice rooms , cool air conditioning and safe. Great restaurants 10 mins away by scooter.

The place is great. It was during the confinement period so the hotel was empty. The pool is clean, the service at the restaurant was good. The cleaning ladies were efficient. The people at the front desk were very helpful. My only complain is about the mattress. It was too hard for me so I kept waking up. Some nights i even woke up up to 5 times. They offered help but they said they didn’t have other types of mattresses. This is the only reason I left the resort, otherwise I would have stayed one more week.

The hotel is perfectly located if you want to be away from the very busy parts of the island and want to enjoy the beach at Koh Ma. The rooms located on the beach is highly recommended. Unfortunately they still provide the service of a 3 and 3 star! Our transport they arranged was 40 minutes late and they show a very much no care attitude; No info in breakfast and no room service information. They actually inform you they provide free bottled water in your room; but no where do they state if you remove the bottle from your room they charge you 50 baht. And then they say to you yes the water is free but there is a cost to the bottle and it is ‘logic’ so they do not have to tell you. The hotel needs much better management!

The sunset amazing

The resort is located on a gorgeous beach. There are beautiful sunsets. The swimming pool is huge and very clean with lots of sun beds around the pool. You get a towel for the pool in your room each day. Check in was quick and efficient even though the hotel was very busy due to the Christmas and New Year period. We stayed in a garden view villa and it was beautiful. Huge room, huge bed, nice bathroom - all very clean. You only get one towel each in the bathroom - no hand towels. There was a lovely balcony to sit on outside the room. The resort was really quiet and peaceful considering how busy it was. Yes there are dogs on the beach but there are dogs everywhere on the island. The entrance to the hotel doesn’t look great from the outside and you arrive in a big car park but that really doesn’t matter once you get to your room and the swimming pool.

We loved it so much here, we came back to stay another 4days, after traveling to other parts of the island as well as koh tao. Beach is wonderful, however careful of the rocks. You can see them when the water is clear, but not if it's murky. We stayed in a beach front bungalow 7031. It was off season, so we got an amazing price. Service in the restaurant is very slow, again off season. Food was very good and hot. Good peices too. We are definitely coming back !
