Hotel Bristol

Breakfast was good. The room was small. Some hooks for towels to dry would have been a good idea! Frosted glass door to the bathroom made for very indiscreet toilet visits!!!

Room was warm but they provided a fan.

Overnight stay before the ferry home early next morning, so was unable to have breakfast.
The hotel reception and rooms have been refurbished since our previous visit two years, which has made a big improvement, the corridors are still the same, but the main areas had been addressed.

I appreciated that the hotel offered luggage storage. This made my arrival in Caen very simple. I also liked the breakfast and the staff were helpful.

A quiet, clean room, with a compact bathroom. I especially appreciated having an elevator to get luggage upstairs. Pleasant, helpful desk staff

The hotel offers parking in the back of the building, which is a real plus. It's walking distance to shopping district, cafes and more.
It offers a great base for discovering Normandy beach history.
Friendly staff, clean rooms, pleasant enough.

Good central location, close to train station.

Great place to stay only stayed one night but there was some filthy areas or unkept around corner from hotel, parking lot behind hotel similar. Short stay not sure how accurate the staff is great, rooms clean. Good value

This hotel was a hidden gem. Although an error was made in my reservation, the front desk made amends and upgraded my room. I wholeheartedly would recommend this boutique hotel.

We were put on the 4th floor with a broken elevator. The staff did not even offer help with our suitcases. We couldn't even find a bottle of water in the rooms that were just small. The hotel needs new mattresses, sheets and pillows as soon as possible. I can't recommend this place.

Clean and tidy. Slept good. Shower lovely. And the scrambled eggs for breakfast was yummy

Lovely room and easy walking distance from the train station (15 min.) Lots of restaurants in the area, including a FABULOUS Indian place about 8 min away.

The only thing we weren’t thrilled with was the pillows on the bed. They were very lumpy and uncomfortable. I ended up folding the extra blanket up to use as a pillow.

All good and a nive hotel room was very nice

The staff were excellent! Very friendly and helpful. The room was small but ok but could have done with a fan or some air con as quite warm. Good choice at breakfast and good location for getting around.

We had two sleepless nights. The very loud outside noise only finished near to 4am on one night and 5am the next. After the first night we asked for a room move to the rear and were told we would be charged more. I would avoid this hotel. The only redeeming feature was the parking.

Nice hotel on a quiet street. Beds comfy and breakfast really good with a great selection.
A short walk to the main part of Caen, with great restaurants and bars.
Also not too far from public transport hubs and car hire.
One minor gripe. The toilet/shower room door was opaque glass that if you are not a couple can cause embarrassment!

Room was very small and dated but clean. Staff was friendly and polite. Location was excellent (close to the train station and transit). A fan in the room would have been nice to help cool it down.
