Excellent location, great breakfast but needs some renovations and loving care.
Pros:

Location is excellent, very helpful staff, smooth check-in and absolutely great breakfast.

Cons:

Bit dated, shower needed some loving care and few renovations.
Air conditioning below par, we went in shoulder season but in summer will be a major issue.

L'emplacement est très bien, en hauteur, avec possibilité de garer sa voiture en haut, au niveau du point de vue panoramique.
Le personnel n'est pas toujours compétent, mais l'un d'entre eux, présent en journée, l'est particulièrement. Il a su répondre à nos sollicitations ( sauf le vol en ballon).
La chambre est spacieuse, taillée dans la roche. Chaussons, savon, shampoing sont fournis. Le jacuzzi dans la sdb était bien.
Le petit déjeuner, plutôt Turc, est bon et offre une belle vue en hauteur.

En conclusion, j'ai apprécié l'accueil, l'emplacement, la chambre malgré des inconvénients mineurs que je n'ai pas signalé.
Par contre, je n'ai pas apprécié que l'hôtel, qui est celui avec qui je traite, n'ai pas pris ses responsabilités concernant le retard du vol en ballon, et qu'il se cache derrière 2 autres prestataires que se renvoient la faute. L'hôtel étant le seul interlocuteur avec le client, il aurait dû nous accorder un 2nd vol le lendemain à l'aube, ou nous garantir un remboursement si nous ne montions pas dans la montgolfière. .

Cons:

1_ L'arnaque des vols en.ballon:: nous avions payé pour 4 vols "sun rise" en ballon (1er vol): 4 × 180 € Il faut payer en CASH. Cela s'est mal passé puisque arrivés sur le site d'envol, nous avons vu une multitude de ballons déjà dans le ci3l, le levé du soleil déjà passé, et personne pour répondre a notre inquiétude. Nous voulons reporter notre vol au lendemain, ou être remboursé. Le chauffeur n'est que le chauffeur, le personnel d'envol nest là que pour faire voler le ballon, la réceptionniste de l'hôtel ne sait rien et n'arrive pas à joindre "l'agence" qui s'occupe des vols...tous me disent que je ne serait proclament pas remboursée... on décide de faire ce vol, on se plaint, ils nous remboursent 20€par personne et proposent un 2nd vol le lendemain pour 80 €par personne! Tout le monde de rejettes la faute avec 3 intermédiaires : l'hotel(avec qui on traite), l'agence qui recueille les demandes de vols et dispache les clients vers des compagnies de montgolfières, et la compagnie de montgolfière. Nous avons pris 2 vols sur 4 le lendemain pour des raisons financières. Nous sommes très déçus et ne comprenons pas que l'hôtel n'aie pas fait un effort financier pour nous ( ils doivent bien toucher des commissions...).
2- certaines prises électriques et la climatisation ( AC) ne fonctionnaient pas, mais nous n'avons pas signalé le problème, donc pas de reproche.
3- Des guêpes sont constamment sur le sol, à l'entrée de notre chambre (108) et je me suis faite piquée.. un arbre fait tomber ses fruits devant notre porte, ce qui les attire. Même si le sol est nettoyé, elles reviennent.
3- le ménage est fait, mais mal. La douche a de la.moissiure au niveau des joints de la douche, le jacuzzi garde nos cheveux entre 2 utilisations, un placard était poussiéreux à notre arrivée, mais je l'ai nettoyé.

Fantastic location with breathtaking views and friendly staff, but the hotel is very dated, dusty and poorly maintained,
Pros:

Excellent location: Without a doubt, the biggest advantage of this hotel is its location. It is literally a one-minute walk from one of the best viewpoints overlooking Göreme, where visitors normally pay around €30 for access. As hotel guests, we had free access, which was a fantastic bonus. The panoramic views, especially with the hot air balloons, were absolutely beautiful.

Friendly and helpful staff: The staff were generally kind and tried their best to assist us. A special mention goes to the young gentleman working in the breakfast restaurant, who was particularly helpful, polite and attentive.

Clean bed linen: Although the overall condition of the hotel was disappointing, the bedsheets were clean, which we appreciated. Room cleaning was also available upon request.

Cons:

Hotel standards and cleanliness: As someone who regularly stays at Hilton hotels, I found the adjustment quite difficult. I appreciate that cave hotels offer a different, more traditional experience, but I would personally place this property closer to a basic three-star standard rather than an upscale hotel.

The rooms and bathrooms were extremely dated, with considerable dust throughout. The bathroom was particularly disappointing, with a very strong, unpleasant smell that made showering extremely uncomfortable. Several fixtures were broken or in poor condition, and the toilet was barely functional. These are basic maintenance and hygiene issues that really need attention, regardless of the hotel’s category.

Breakfast: Breakfast was traditional Turkish rather than the varied international or continental breakfast you might expect at a Hilton. This is not necessarily a negative if you enjoy Turkish breakfasts, but international travellers should be aware that the selection is quite different. That said, the restaurant staff were genuinely lovely.

Hot air balloon booking advice: This was another frustrating experience. Before arriving, I was advised not to book the hot air balloon in advance, as the hotel would arrange it for us once we arrived.

However, when I approached reception to book for the following morning, the manager quoted €320 per person, which I found extremely expensive. Fortunately, I had researched independently and managed to find an alternative for €290. I had also seen advance booking options around €220, so following the hotel’s advice could have cost us considerably more.

My advice to future travellers would be to research and compare hot air balloon prices well in advance rather than relying entirely on last-minute hotel arrangements.

Delightful hotel not far from a Göreme viewing point. Room was small, but very clean, with a nice view over the town. Very polite stuff, good breakfast.

Something to keep in mind, which wasn't a problem for us but may be important for other guests. The hotel is located in a restricted zone, so taxis do not drive all way to the hotel. Last 100 metres from where the car drops the passengers you need to walk uphill yourself.

#1 location for a hotel room in Cappadoccia
Pros:

this was the best hotel room, it was located just steps away from the hot air balloons. Most people had to pay to go to the path, but the path was just outside our door, the staff was exceptional, we had a wonderful time.

Pros:

The staffs were super helpful. We didn’t realise we actually booked the best situated hotel with a superb vantage point! People had to pay to go through the road, we had free access. We got free genius breakfast and it was unexpectedly good !! Very recommended !

Cons:

I was on crutches and no transportation could go up to the reception / lobby and that was very inconvenient considering how steep the roads are.
Also there’s a bathtub for shower but I’d rather have a walk-in shower.
