It was absolutely beautiful. It was spotless. We had Cinnamon 1 and 2. They were so unique, there was a lounge upstairs between the 2 units- which we called the “museum” with really cool items from history. Lovely bedtime treats each night, and local snacks that were super tasty and thoughtful.
Rose tea, kopi o and 3 in 1 was a welcome selection for us… not to mention the body soap, shampoo and conditioner that had such a gorgeous smell.
The staff couldn’t be more helpful and helped recommend our favourite meal on Kimberly Road, checked us out super early with a smile and such pleasantness.
Spaces to chill out and relax were instagramable, and so quaint.
The beds were super comfortable and the bed sheets felt incredibly luxurious.
The price was extremely reasonable and I really felt like it was such fantastic value for money we were really sad to leave.

Everything about our stay at East Indies was perfect. We honestly couldn't have asked for a better location, and spot to relax and stay during our time in Georgetown. We didn't want to leave! While everything was beautiful, it was the staff who made it a truly memorable stay. They were extremely helpful, kind and always around to take care of us. The list of recommended food spots, and access to tea, coffee and snacks were also lovely.

It was absolutely gorgeous! Beautifully restored yet with all the modern amenities you would want. We stayed in Clove 1 and 2 which was perfect for our family of five giving everyone plenty of space and privacy - two bathrooms was amazing. The staff are very obliging and happy to help. There were lots of lovely thoughtful touches such as a turn down service and little local treats left for us each day. The location was fantastic with all the Georgetown sites within walking distance. I would thoroughly recommend.

Nous étions deux familles de 4 avec 2 jeunes enfants. Nous avions loué les 2 chambres Cinnamon avec le salon communicant. C’était super ! La maison est très belle et pleine d’histoire ! Très bon emplacement ! Le personnel est aux petits soins et avec plein attention.
Le petit dej est correct et il y a aussi plein d’options autour

Lieu absolument incroyable et atypique. Passionnée d'hôtel haut de gamme, celui-ci est une vraie perle. Cette "mansion" a une grande âme. Petits déjeuners soignés et succulents (un thème chaque jour) et, personnel discret et d'une extrême politesse. Il est situé en plein centre historique à deux pas du street art.... Je vous laisse découvrir cet endroit tour simplement magique ❤️. Merci!

The respectful nod to heritage, the courtyards . It is beautifully restored and maintained. So connected and within easy walking distance of the offerings of the Indian and UNESCO listed districts.

I loved the incredibly comfortable bed, and the beautiful heritage atmosphere made my stay truly unforgettable.
