If you're looking for a hotel that feels like home, Eurostars Hotel Old City is the place to stay.
From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with genuine kindness. The reception was helpful, always ready to answer questions, offer advice, and make our stay more comfortable. Every single person we met—whether at breakfast, in the corridors, or during cleaning—was incredibly friendly and caring.
The location is unbeatable: just a short walk to Istanbul’s most iconic sights, like Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, and more. It made exploring the city with kids easy and enjoyable.
The hotel itself is slightly old but extremely clean. Housekeeping came every day, and if we needed anything, the staff responded immediately and went out of their way to help.
And the breakfast? Absolutely amazing. Fresh, delicious, and full of variety—there was something for everyone, including our kids. It gave us the perfect start to each day.
Traveling with children, especially a child with special needs, is not always easy—but here, we felt seen, supported, and respected. The way they treated both of our children, including our toddler, was so kind and thoughtful. That alone meant the world to us.
If you're a family, especially with young kids or children with special needs, and want a safe, clean, welcoming hotel in the historic heart of Istanbul, I wholeheartedly recommend Eurostars Hotel Old City. It made our trip not only possible but truly special.

Gut
A nice comfortable centrally located hotel. The breakfast spread is good with a lot of options.
In close proximity to public transport hence easy to move around. It has a lot of restaurants around for local cuisine. Overall a great place to stay.
I was in eurostars hotel last week.was wonderfull accomodation for me and my family.staff, room, breakfast, location really amazing.will visit again.ı recommend this hotel to all.the staff try to do their best for the guests.the hotel is closed to all historical places.also the public transportation ,tram, bus and fary are very near to the hotel 1 minutes by walking distance.
The staff was very helpful 24/7 any questions they were helpful, great location there alot of dining spots open super late around 1 am and stores too. Public transportation is like 1-2 munute walk also the ferry is like 5 mins walk very easy i love the spot and everything
the room wasn’t very clean and you can hear the noise from the corridors.
The hotel employees were friendly and nice
Rooms are outdated, location is great, staff are amazing and helpful .
But rooms are outdated, bathrooms are outdated.
The hotel room were small and dirty
Overall, we were pleased with our stay.
The hotel is located in a fantastic part of Old Town with a tram stop just a one minute walk from the hotel.
The staff are very friendly and helpful and service in the restaurant is excellent.
The buffet breakfast was excellent - one of the better buffet breakfasts we enjoyed on our Turkey trip.
The rooms are very small, but the decor is nice. We would have appreciated USB ports to charge our devices.
The bathroom was ridiculously small and this would be the main reason we wouldn't stay here again. The shower was tiny and there wasn't any room in the bathroom to store toiletries.
Everything was nice. Nothing to criticise
It’s next to metro station in the middle of market
Just 3 minutes walk from the bridge and coastal walkway
Disrespect and unacceptable behaviour from your service's stuff ! Teach and educate professionally your services, and tell them that they absolutely mustn't make fun of other's religion
Worst/racist...
The hotel is on central location on Sirkeci, its a few steps from resturants, coffeshop with shiaha, Pharmacy, clothings, and any store you need during your stay.
There are a tram station and metro station on Siekeci and its located between Eminönü, and sultan ahmed tram stations, so you can travel easily during your stay.
although the overall stay is good, but the hotel got some issues. The elevators is too narrow, it can hold 2-3 persons at once.
On winter the rooms is too hot because of central heating you cant turn it off and the air conditioner is disabled! This is shared with every hotel i have been on istanbul.
Noise, the hotel is on central location and this come with noise from traffic and people on the street; if you take the top floor, seagulls stay on the roof and you can hear their steps all night!
if none of the above is a problem for you, this is a good hotel to stay on, do not hesitate.
Loved the whole experience, great staff and great location, I highly recommend this hotel
1) although location is good close by station, spice bazar, eminonu square but is surrounded with resturant which means you can smell food in your room :)
2) staff are good
3) breakfast is perfect.
4)room is very bad small in size, very old furniture the toilet is disaster not clean rusted shower and wc water pressure is low
5) dirty curtains and ceiling.
6) the views either resturant side or main road which will be noisy.
Could not stay in this hotel and had to move to another..
First off, The location is good. The room had two windowes. They presented fresh fruits and vegetables at breakfast. The room is nice. Although there are many things to be fixed in the bathroom and it looked like it wasn't used I found dead mosquitoes in the shower. However, the noise coming from the people staying outside the hotel wether it is guests or the resturant is very loud up to 2 after midnight.
We arrived at 18:00 evening hours, the reception guy was very rude when we asked him politely to check if there are rooms in upper floors, we only asked didn't even insist. After 12 hours of travel, we only wanted the room. We stayed 5 nights in this hotel. They charged us 90€ per night for one room. For this price we could have gone to a way better hotel with better treatment and breakfast. The breakfast room there were flies, i would suggest you work on hygiene. AND NO tell your breakfast manager, CORONA IS NOT OVER. You can keep that to yourselves. Some of us actually lost loved ones to Covid 19. Just respect it and dont comment on guests wearing masks the whole time we stayed every morning he had to comment on it, even if you mean well just stop.
We were told breakfast opens at 07:00, the day we had a trip, we were there at 07:00 and the resturant was not ready. So just update your guests. And when it is 09:00 they stop refreshing food. So just pay attention not to be late for your breakfast. Actually the breakfast had a variety of food but I just rather to buy outside since the coffee is not tasty, I found a beard hair in the vegetable salad. So again HYGIENE IS IMPORTANT. breakfast room is relatively small and has low celieng which is a nightmare.
Overall I would not want to come back to this hotel nor Istanbul again.
