Beautiful upscale hotel with great staff and nice amenities. We rented the suite with bunk beds and it’s not inside the hotel so we felt that we weren’t really included within the hotel. There was a dirt road we had to walk by to get to it. They should try to make the suites feel more part of the hotel and not an afterthought addition which is why I have it a 4 out or 5. But this place has many pros like a very private pool for the suites apart from the hotel pool although it doesn’t have any views. I would say if you come in a group or with a family and don’t care about the views of the main pool the suite would be the best place to stay. Great bang for your buck. You can also easily go to the main pool by walking across the street. They do have great hotel amenities like a spa where you can get massages for a fee. they free yoga, free meditation classes and free horseback riding which is nice.

This hotel is a true gem. Everything about it is awesome. The beach and mountain views are spectacular. Great amenities, fantastic food, super friendly and helpful staff, awesome music, etc. They also run really amazing and inspiring community initiatives. I highly recommend!

Mizata was a perfect retreat for the end of my travels in El Salvador. Beautiful property for guests staying overnight alongside the popular Nawi Beach Club. The staff was friendly and the food was good. The jungle bungalow was very clean and spacious. I wished I could stay longer.

Aesthetically great property. Many challenges during the stay. Original room we booked had a leak in It and wasn't notified until hours after arriving and relaxing on property, they wanted us to downgrade and be credited the difference while offering massages as a courtesy, instead we upgraded. The upgrade was magnificent until later that evening when It became windy and the gust of window knocked our door in and came off the hinges. We were then moved to another room minutes into getting ready for dinner, got to the new room but was met with droplets for water pressure. Yes the hotel accommodated us and had maintenance get us a new shower head with better pressure but It delayed our dinner reservation. Would I stay here again? Hell yeah. The property is amazing, quiet during the week, lively on the weekends with a DJ. The 9 course omakasa experience was truly delightful please book this,they have a 7course option as well. Although I experienced different challenges, the staff was friendly, accommodating and worked hard! So many places to capture good content if that's your thing!

I personally had a hard time checking in. The hotel was overbooked. I reserved 2 months prior to traveling and they couldn’t find my reservation despite emails from Mizata welcoming 3 days prior to check in. The hotel is for adults but Expedia did not list it as adults only, my reservation listed my kids and their ages. My rental car was scratched while parked on property. Food was great, bartenders and servers where really nice and helpful. Despite the confusion and the waiting around we were able to enjoy the hotel, hotel room was nice and clean and we were able to enjoyed the pool across from Nawi beach house all to ourselves since everyone was at the bar and beach side pools. We didn’t end up staying the night due to personal decisions but our room and beds were really comfortable.

Title: Extremely Disappointing Stay at Mizata – Not as Advertised
I booked our stay at Mizata a month in advance, excited about the beautiful accommodations shown in the ads. Unfortunately, the room we were provided was nothing like what was advertised.
The room was infested with an overwhelming number of bugs. They were everywhere—on the ceiling, in the bed, and even on the pillows. It was impossible to sleep comfortably, especially since my boyfriend doesn’t handle insects well. When I reported the issue, the only solution offered was a can of Off, which did little to address the problem as the bugs were biting and flying around incessantly.
Although the resort did try to accommodate us by moving us to a different room for one of the four nights we stayed, which was significantly better and bug-free, this hardly made up for the discomfort we experienced.
The initial room appeared to be an “overflow/employee” room, not even attached to the main part of the resort. It lacked basic security as the balcony door wouldn’t lock or close properly, leaving us feeling unsafe, especially with no security presence on that side of the property. Additionally, the A/C barely worked in the main room, making the stay even more uncomfortable.
During a severe storm on our final night, the pathways flooded with minimal lighting, unlike the well-maintained, raised, and lit pathways in the main resort area. This further highlighted how neglected and substandard our room was compared to what was
