Alright if you want to stay in the city centre in a budget.
Pros:

The location.

Cons:

The mattresses are really bad, after a long day walk when you look forward to relax in the bed and find the mattress too springy and uncomfortable is not pleasant. Also the breakfast spread isn't great at all.

Good value for a one night stay for two people.
Pros:

Nice and simple, easy access, comfortable. Very straightforward for a one night stay. Staff very helpful.

Cons:

Breakfast was Ok but could do better with scrambled eggs and the cereal options. The room layout was odd - TV above desk, not directly in line with the bed. Plug and light on one side of the bed only. The only chair in the room was the desk chair.Maybe because the room layout was designed for one not two people.

Okay on a bughet
Pros:

Quite cheap in comparison to nearby hotels. Having a fridge in the room was a nice bonus. Also very convenient location being right on the high street

Cons:

Toilet had a very unpleasant smell, which could strangely be found in the communal areas of the hotel too. Only provided with two very thin pillows so I had to request 2 additional at reception. Bed was noisy and mattress a bit too soft for my liking

Stayed for marathon. Price doubled for that night £250 a lot for a 3* room with no TV. Location was excellent and room c
Pros:

Great location / clean / helpful staff

Cons:

Very very soft bed. Very basic room but as expected I guess for 3* but very expensive with no TV. Average breakfast.
Very expensive for marathon o/n stay. Following night was 50% less !

Good location and clean, but noisy and uncomfortable sleep.
Pros:

The location was great. Good to have breakfast included, albeit basic. They accommodated athletes participating in the marathon so they could have the included breakfast before their race which was a nice touch. Fridge in room handy. Staff were nice.

Cons:

The room was very basic, like student accommodation rather than what is shown in the pictures. The bed was really old and creaky and mattress lumpy. It was incredibly noisy throughout the night you could hear the slightest movements elsewhere in the hotel, we didn’t really sleep the 3 nights we were there. Disappointing that turnover/room clean is not included when staying for multiple nights.
