Amazing infinity pool on lake. So relaxing!

Enjoyed our stay very much, beautiful view, access to infinity pool and lake unexpected so very pleasant!

Wir hatten 2 schöne Tage in Weggis . Personal und Services waren ausgezeichnet. Dadurch, dass wir die Aussenanlage vom benachbarten Hotel benutzen durfte, sprangen wir dort noch in den Pool/See.

This is such a beautiful property. It was so well kept, the staff was so nice & welcoming. Rooms were clean and had spectacular views. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. There is also a boat rental place next door which we took advantage of and loved it

Area around the property was safe and there are several walkable restaurants. Bus stops nearby. About an hour to get into a larger city with train stations-it’s a pretty remote area. Would be great for older couples. The town shuts down early on Saturdays and pretty much closed on Sundays. The restaurant was great. The inside of the hotel room is very old and dated. No AC and it was very hot at night. A fan in the room would do wonders in terms of comfort.

Everything perfect but finding parking is hard

Think of this property more like a villa. The main facilities (dining room and pool) are a short walk away. The room was clean and the view gorgeous. The dining room/buffet was delicious and the pool view outstanding. Would absolutely return.

Loved staying here in Weggis. Amazing room with a view, fantastic pool, a few minutes walk away from the ferry dock. Very helpful front desk staff.

Excellent evening male receptionist who was helpful with check in. Beautiful area and calm surrounding.
There is room for improvement in terms of Wi-Fi connectivity and availability of microwave in the lobby of Garni hotel.

Super Lage direkt am See

Emplacement magnifique au bord du lac, chambre propre et agréable, vue splendide sur l'eau et les montagnes. Salle à manger lumineuse, beau buffet de petit déjeuner. La cuisine est excellente, le personnel est courtois et réactif. Bref, à recommander.

Todo genial excepto las almohadas. Son muy finas y planas y cuesta dormir. Pedimos más en recepción y se solucionó el problema. Quiero dar las gracias especialmente a Manuela en recepción y Jovanka (que me perdone si no lo escrubí bien) en desayunos por el trato. Preciosas vistas al lago y platos exquisitos en el restaurante.

Positif : son emplacement, le balcon (bien que pas très propre et entretenu) et la vue.
Négatif :
Cet hôtel n'a pas de réception, selon le directeur c'est le principe des hôtels Garni, mais cela nous ne le savions pas avant et ce n'est pas du tout indiqué. La photo de la chambre ne correspond pas du tout à celle qu'on a eu. Il n'y a pas de salle à manger et aucune des commodités indiquées. Il faut se rendre à pied en passant par l'extérieur pour prendre le petit déjeuner à l'Hôtel Central (sympas les matins de pluie) qui lui à bien ces commodités. Nous avons réservé et payé 3 nuits pour une chambre de 18m2 et on se retrouve dans un pièce de 13m2. Malgré notre réclamation, il n'y a pas eu de solution ni de geste commercial de leur part, au contraire, il nous demandait 80.- Chf/nuit pour un surclassement...tout simplement scandaleux. Pas même une bouteille d'eau lors de notre arrivée et aucun produit de bain offert comme indiqué sue le site Ebookers et celui de l'hôtel. Les oreillers n'ont plus de volume et lorsqu'on a demandé à les remplacer, rien n'a été fait. La pièce est tellement petite, que pour accéder à la terrasse il fallait déplacer le petit fauteuil et faire la même chose pour accéder à l'armoire. On avait vraiment l'impression d'avoir louer une chambre avec AirBnB et non une chambre d'hôtel, car même le nettoyage était pas bien fait. Si on avait su cela avant et pour ce prix, nous aurions choisi autre chose.

Das Hotel Garni Frohburg ist ein separates Gebäude mit grossen ansprechenden Zimmern, sehr bequemen Bett und tollem grossen Balkon mit Sitzecke und zwei Liegestühlen (1. Stock, Zimmer 11).
Direkt am See gelegen, alle 12 Zimmer mit Seeblick.
Die Rezeption für das Check-In, der Pool und der Frühstücksraum befinden sich im ca 50 Meter entfernten Hotel Central.

Der Empfang war dürftig, keine herzliche Begrüssung oder 'Hatten Sie eine gute Anreise?" Nur Pflichtprogramm. Auch hat man es bei der Zimmerbestätigung unterlassen, uns mitzuteilen, dass das Check-in im Hotel Central stattfindet.
Wir bekamen ein schönes Zimmer , mit guten Betten und einem grossem Balkon und wunderbarer Aussicht auf den Vierwaldstättersee.
Nur leider war es nicht sauber, im Bad gab es noch Haare von den Vorgängern und im Spiegelkasten auch noch ihre Zahnbürsten. Der Kleiderschrank war sehr staubig, da gab es noch eine Tasche mit augeklebten Etiketten von Gästen, Datum 20.04...wie auch immer..Der schöne Parkettboden war auch schmutzig, wir haben uns selber beholfen.
Auch der schöne Balkon liess zu wünschen übrig, die Sonnenstore war zerrissen , die Gartenmöbel schmutzig, Vogeldreck und überall gab es Spinnweben. Das Zimmer war wohl schon länger nicht mehr vermietet, man hat sich vor unserer Ankunft nicht die Mühe genommen, nochmals einen Kontrollcheck zu machen und das Zimmer, wie es sich für diesen Preis gehört, entsprechend zu präsentieren.
Das Frühstück hingegen war sehr gut, die Mitarbeiter zuvorkommend und herzlich. Der Frühstücksraum mit der angrenzenden Seeterrasse und Garten hatten mediterranes Flair, das war toll.
Weggis und der See als Erholungsgebiet haben wir genossen.
Ansonsten sind wir vom Preis-Leistungsverhältnis des Hotel Frohburg einfach nur enttäuscht.

Before telling about the hotel we did stay at it needs to be established that the photos represent the mother hotel - Central - where all facilities are located. Including the reception. Ok it's only 75m away, but still. It is a clear misrepresentation to show a pool, and stylish rooms of another hotel. It only takes a couple of minutes to take proper photos of the actual property, stating clearly that ALL facilities are at a neighbour hotel and potential guests can make up their mind whether or not to book it.
The Frohburg is actually quite ok. Rooms are large with good baths and seem fairly newly renovated with fantastic lake and alp views. A nice sunterrace with direct access to the lake. The breakfast and pool at the main hotel is great and at the small marina one can rent pedal oats and SUPs. There are also a restaurant that we never tried.
All in all Frohburg is certainly not three star and certainly not at par with the price quoted. But this is Switzerland and Weggis... If the price difference is small why would anyone stay here rather than at the main hotel.
If the owners also renovate the outside of the building it will probably be a quite ok 2/3 star facility.

The room location was excellent .. plus room condition was ok.. only disappointing part was staff .. I have mention before that we are vegetarian so that they can provide something for breakfast .. but they did not provide anything g and wen I requested for bread to one of lady staff .. she was really rude .. very disappointing
