A Must Stay Hotel in Jakarta
Pros:

Neat, clean, colonial theme.
If you looking for classic Indonesia theme, this will be a perfect choice.
They serve dinner also for free. Love it.
Try the breakfast, they have both buffet and a la carte.
It is really nice.

Cons:

I don't know if is it possible to serve pork bacon on breakfast? If yes, then I really missed it.

Good for short stay.
Pros:

First of all we were welcome with friendly doorman and reception.

We fall in love with the classic historical Dutch colonial building. I was told it was the office building of the first Indonesian president Soekarno. We were amazed how beautiful the room as we felt back to the old time.
Our bed really comfortable that we slept very well. We heard the prayer from the mosque but it doesn’t bother us at all as good as the room is soundproof.

Plenty breakfast choices for asian and european.

The location absolutely in the centre of Jakarta close to shopping centre, restaurants and bars.

Cons:

The Asian decoration bij the entrance and in the middle of the building next to the stairs it doesn’t fit with the classic antique building. Absolutely make the hotel not beautiful… pity.

Koloniale luxe en rust.
Pros:

De rode loper rolt uit, je wordt persoonlijk benaderd, je krijgt een welkomstdrankje, de suite stond een hapje en een drankje klaar. Roomservice is snel. De faciliteiten zijn luxe. Het buffet is uitgebreid. De mensen zijn heel vriendelijk. Rooftop service is geweldig.

Cons:

Iets meer fitness facilities. Zwaardere gewichten bijvoorbeeld. En het contact is wel zeer professioneel. Mag soms wat losser zoals met de barman.

Great place to stay, good location but away from main downtown.
Pros:

The breakfast had sufficient variety, and more, ala carte menu was included. The room was very comfortable, with a separate living room with a TV. That helped us to watch separate TV programs. The pool is not my thing. When I am traveling for sigh seeing a country, I don't want to waste time lounging around a pool or beach. We are from Miami; we have our own best beaches.

Cons:

The hotel concierge service was very disappointing. They had no idea what their city had to offer. We had a list of places to see and visit. Any question related to those had a blank answer. It felt like they were also uninformed tourists, even about the surrounding restaurants. We selected a restaurant for dinner from Google. It was just around the corner at walking distance. I asked which way to start. They were clueless,

Brilliant hotel in all respects - one of the best I've ever stayed in anywhere.
Pros:

This is a brilliant hotel - I doubt there could be a better place to stay in Jakarta than here.
We loved everything about this hotel - the room we had was a suite - and so comfortable!
The restaurant and food were excellent.
The facilities including the pool and roof top bar are amazing.
The staff were fantastic.

Cons:

Nothing - this hotel is an 11 out of 10.

ein Traum und ein krönender Abschluss meines Indonesien Urlaubs

Das Hotel ist ein Traum, gehalten im kolonialen Stil, sehr großzügig. Das Personal extrem freundlich, und die Zimmer großzügig und spektakulär. Im neuen Stock ist der Swimmingpool und die Rooftop Terrasse mit grandiosen Ausblick auf die Skyline. Auf der Rooftop Terrasse ist kein Kleiderzwang, d.h. ganz leger in kurzen Hosen, T-Shirt, Sandalen. Nächste Absatz wenn man ein Club Zimmer hat, gibt es Zugang zur Club Lounge, wo es Cocktails, Wein, Bier und Essen gibt, der Aufpreis lohnt sich. Das Frühstück ich heute Morgen genossen hab ist grandios, leider konnte ich da nicht viel genießen, da ich auf den Flughafen musste. Ich war leider nur ein Tag im Hotel, was ich bereue, da ich vorher in einem anderen Hotel übernachtet habe.

Beautiful Colonial Hotel with Excellent Service and Modern Rooms
Pros:

A beautiful Colonial Hotel just slightly away from the busy main roads of the city centre. The rooms were spacious, modern, clean and equipped with a courtyard and reception area. There was a sense of peace at night as well. The bathrooms were excellent with the right amenities.
The service was excellent throughout the day from breakfast right up to the reception. We even had drinks at their bar which had a 1950s old vibe to it. Everyone was courteous and always smiling. Breakfast was up to the mark of a 5 star hotel with menu service and buffet.
A remarkable experience and I look forward to coming back.

Absolutey fabulous hotel inMeng Teng, Jakarta
Pros:

Spent 7 nights here…fabulous rooms with colonial feel and yet modern convenience. Common areas are wonderful and the rooftop pool and bar/patio excellent. Views of Jakarta are stunning. Food is excellent and the staff are both polite and extremely friendly. As a platinum Bonvoy member I have stayed at multiple hotels but this has been one of the most charming.
