Nice facility close to town and the beach.
Pros:

Newly remodeled

Cons:

The circuit was tripped for 1/2 the cottage - figured it out after a while so it wasn’t a big problem.

First time to this city and we saw many nicer places to stay. We won't stay here again.
Pros:

Location was nice to be right on the water. The surrounds were quiet, but parking was cramped.

Cons:

First impression of the site: I wasn't sure if it was operating as the front flowers and weeds were so overgrown.
The person checking us in said the heat in our room would only go to 70. Probably because the area where the water lines came in you could see the ground.
Found blood stains on a pillow...yuck.
Be cautious, the outside pictures of the units are the newer cabins, which they only have three of them. We were offered an upgrade for an additional $100/night, but declined.

Great Stay!
Pros:

The location. The room. The beach. The cottage had a microwave, fridge. The A/C worked really well. The temperature in the shower was excellent. The bed was comfortable. There was sufficient pillows, shampoo, soap, cups and towels!!!! Mr. Martin was wonderful! He upgraded us to a bigger, fabulous room.

Cons:

Honestly, everything was perfect. I would advise future guests that there is no Uber or taxis in Mackinaw City! Reserve a shuttle ride from Pellonston Airport ahead of time! The hubby and I walked from the cottage into town. It's about a 2-3 mile walk. Again, there is no Uber or Taxis! There are several restaurants within the walking distance. "Joanne's" make the most delicious doughnuts!

Pros:

Great beach view, very clean and comfortable.

Cons:

My only complaint is the screen door for the cabin we stayed in slams too loud and fast. It broke the skin on my ankle multiple times throughout my stay and the slam is very abrupt and loud.

The receptionist is great! The kindest person you can meet. He stayed late to hand us the keys and didn't say a word about it. In fact he was super nice even when he needn't be
