La piscine, trop petite et sale, l' insonorisation la chambre, le rapport qualité prix par rapport à un 4 étoiles fait précédemment, celui-ci ne vaut pas un 5 étoiles.

Nice experience to stay at the hotel, which is a real ship. A bit worn, but definitely still okay. Very good breakfast, nice staff, stable & fast WiFi7 covering all areas.
Very limited hotel parking space. Be sure to reserve, if you need it. However, the public parking is literally <2 minutes away by foot. During the night, if you sleep with partially open balcony door, there is a constant engine-like sound, most likely AC systems on the roof. But in general, good sound insulation with windows / doors closed.

Breakfast was mostly good but could have been hotter.
Some of the staff were genuinely miserable especially in the Gastrobar - one of the female staff in particular.
It was also nigh on impossible to get a drink after 11.30pm which is unusual for a 5 star holiday hotel and the provision of sunbeds is entirely inadequate for a holiday hotel.

Ship appears dated - looks cheap and like from ’90s movie (and I guess it’s extremely expensive and fairy modern).
Facilities (pool / bar) not adequate for the number of guests
Lovely room, all the staff we saw during our stay were excellent, great food and location.
Pity they’ve closed the casino on board and replaced it with gaming consoles. Not the same so we gave it a miss. They could do with more sun loungers at the rooftop pool as it was impossible to get one!
The Sunborn is a spotlessly clean hotel in the marina of Gilbraltar, local bars and restaurants in walking distance, reception staff exceptional. Larger than average rooms, lovely shower, and good storage space.
Service was slow in the bar in the evening
The staff were helpful, onsite parking was amazing
Just one thing lacking gluten free sausages!
