The place was fairly clean. Other than that, I don’t have positive comments.
The hotel is near a train station (“Agra Fort”) which is not the one that you will use because trains from/to Delhi and Jaipur are in “Agra Cantonment”. The hotel has no elevator and I was not helped with my luggage. The terrace has a cage, but with a big opening running horizontally between the cage and the wall from where monkeys can sneak into. I needed to stay at the computer and the terrace would have been ideal (also for breakfast), but I did not trust: monkeys were passing in the poles just in front and they are aggressive so I stayed locked in my room: when I was crossing the bridge to reach the hotel, a monkey tried twice to attack me for no reason and I was so lucky that a guy who was passing by protected me (monkeys perfectly know the difference between locals and white people like me and thousands of people die in India every year due to rabies carried by stray dogs and monkeys). It is not possible to close the window in the bathroom which is dangerous for monkeys and also made the room very cold (having a shower was a nightmare). The window in the room was broken so cold air was entering and even though I made a plaster with wet toilet paper to seal the opening, I was freezing and could not sleep. I could pay by card, but I was overcharged for their commissions: I mean, if price is 100 I don’t give them 98 because my bank will charge me 2, so they must not charge me 102 if price is 100. Each part pays its own fees. Price is a gross number, it is not the net revenue. The receptionist was talkative before my arrival and until the moment when I paid, but then he totally ignored me without even say “good morning” (which I later found out it is sadly a common behaviour in India). I booked with them also the transfer to Jaipur with visit in Fatehpur, but the driver was hurrying me while visiting and did not drop me off at the foothill of the site in order to push me to waste time and money with a tourist cart that connects the parking lot to the mosque.
1. It was close to the Agra Fort railway station.
2. Friendly staff.
3. Meals could be ordered and delivered to the room.
Hot water, which was heated and stored in a tank, was insufficient for the whole hair washing and shower process.
Very handy for Agra fort train station. Nice big bed
Centraal gelegen locatie.
The food was tailor-made for me as a guest, it was perfect! The cok was a very nice man who tried to make an conversation with me (he didn't speak English very well). So he was a very kindly man!
Heel fijn dat ze een buitenplaats hebben!
Erg veel straatlawaai!
Tv was erg verouderd
Waste. Staff worst.
Bed sheets worst
The bed was really unconfortable, you can hear everything from the street. Also, there is an open window in the bathroom so any bug or animal can enter
Lift facility and Restaurant were not available. However, The Hotel provided meals from their facilities with some common items. Behaviors of the staff and management are excellent. Safety arrangement such as fire hydrant and sprinklers are provided as an preventive measure. It is nice and safe to stay their. But, since the area is a market place and busy area, lot of noise are their.
More trained and efficient staff and other facilities like Restaurant, Washing, Car Parking, more cleanness are needed to attract sophisticated guests.
Good location close to Agra station, to the Agra fort, and to market areas. Staff was helpful and kind.
Cold shower.
The staff were accommodating location was good (although in a busy area and you needed ear plusgs to sleep at night), and there was hot water. They gave us toilet paper too. The common area had table to sit and eat, etc
We gave our clothes to wash but they were also ironed and pants got damaged a bit (so make sure you say you don't need ironing). But the hotel owner/manager kindly compensated us for it partially and it wasn't really their fault since the local person had done it.
Overall the property and facilities are a bit old.
