Fantastic would recommend
Pros:

The location was fantastic and the room opened out onto a lovely garden.

Cons:

Although I have a dog and it was great that it was pet friendly the cover for the bed had clearly not been cleaned. I'm allergic to some dogs and as soon as I lay on it I reacted. Folded it up and popped it in the cupboard then was ok. Could I suggest that as lots of people do have their dogs on the bed (we dont) either clean the cover between stays or just have the washable bedding?

Perfect Location for Many Sites and York.
Pros:

Our room was spacious, clean and really comfortable. Good shower, wifi and really comfy bed. Location was fantastic for our visits to York and all the Archaeological sites nearby. Breakfast excellent.

Pros:

A lovely big room in 1 of 5 outside the pub with a large garden and car park. Nice pub and restaurant with great staff and ideal for our onward trip to Northumberland.

Great value, clean, accommodation
Pros:

Friendly staff. The property was clean, a good size, and came with a fridge which was a nice bonus. Very good location if you're going to a wedding at the venue nearby.
Breakfast was tasty and served quickly

Cons:

Didn't respond to messages on Booking.com
Bit confusing when arrived for breakfast - there was noone around so we just had to lurk until the noise of other guests brought someone from out the back

Great place for a base around Thirsk and North Yorkshire countryside.
