Nice place and good quality accommodation but enact to a main road. If your a light sleeper may cause you an issue with

Very modern and spacious enough for 2 adults

Cons:

The accommodation was by a main road and lorry’s passing by through the night kept me awake

A visit to friends

It was exactly what I wanted and as I expected. I have stayed here before and hope I will again.
Pros:

I enjoyed the evening meal, the drink beforehand in the bar, and breakfast. The service was excellent and everyone there was welcoming. The room was also exactly what I wanted.

Pros:

Easy to find and park, pretty pub with garden and terrace, lodges in the garden make charming bedrooms, clean comfortable quiet room, lovely staff, good food.

Clean and welcoming, food good,
Pros:

Rooms were separate from building and looked brand new builds. Bed was comfy, room was clean and well presented. Main meal and breakfast was very good.

Cons:

Air conditioning was available for an extra £5 per night which I felt was a bit “Ryanair” we didn’t need it but I would imagine the rooms will need it in hot weather. I do appreciate that it’s a sign of the times though with energy costs.
Nothing the business can do, but the rooms are on a very busy road and Lorry’s were thundering past all night so quite noisy.

A great short break, we will be going back again.
Pros:

Our room was much larger than expected, as was the shower. We really enjoyed the food , both breakfast and dinner, and all the staff were very friendly.

Cons:

The only thing we noticed was some road noise, but this did not spoil our stay at all.

Our second stay at the Old Oak Tree was excellent.
Pros:

The dinner and the breakfast the next day was exceptional. The possibility of taking the dog for a walk was very convenient as well.

Cons:

There is nothing that we think could be improved upon.
