The property managers were a delight. They made the hotel feel like they were welcoming us into their home. Our room was lovely, clean and spacious. Highly recommend d this delightful 200yr old house.

Mario and his wife Blanca were fantastic - responding to every question and request. They are the owners and live onsite. The hotel is small, spotless, and safe. I highly recommend!

Ein wunderschön restauriertes koloniales Stadthaus mit Patio und kleiner Dachterrasse. Sehr herzliche Gastgeber – man fühlt sich sofort willkommen.
Perfekte Lage im historischen Zentrum, vieles ist zu Fuß erreichbar, und wir haben uns jederzeit sicher gefühlt. Flughafentransfer kann zuverlässig organisiert werden.

One of the best places we have stayed. Mario and Blanca welcomed us into their home like family. Their house is beautiful and immaculate, breakfast was delicious and nothing is too much trouble, thank you both for a wonderful stay!

We stayed here twice during our trip to Ecuador. We booked after reading all of the incredible reviews and were not disappointed! Mario and Blanca were incredibly welcoming hosts. Mario even got up at 4am for our early departure to the airport to ensure we got into our taxi safely. They have a beautiful home and are both incredibly welcoming. Mario was really helpful in recommending and booking restaurants for us! They very kindly gave us a bottle of fizz to celebrate our honeymoon! Cannot reccomend enough!

This small hotel located in the historic centre of Quito is a gem. The rooms are all individually decorated and thoughtfully appointed. What makes this property outstanding thought are its hosts. Nothing is too much trouble and they always greeted us with welcoming smiles. If you get the chance to book a stay here, go for it!

What a wonderful place run by two wonderful people - Mario and Blanca. Such a pleasant change after large hotels, to stay in a lovely renovated property in which you are encouraged to feel like a part of the family and treat the place as your home. Rooms are large and spacious as well as being beautifully set up, there are lots of places to relax in including a quiet and secluded roof top lounge, and the hotel is close to all the attractions of the old town. Breakfast was great and whilst set times, Mario and Blanca were very flexible if you wanted to change. They were also very helpful with local directions, tours and restaurants.

Everything we needed was thoughtfully provided. The hosts were very helpful. Breakfasts were delicious, but also provided opportunities for interesting talks with other like minded travellers.

It was a 8 minute walk to the grande square for some great restaurants. The historic old town is just a few more blocks. Mario suggested LaVid and it was excellent food with great views of thr square. You even get a free taxi ride back. The breakfast was also very good. They are so friendly and have great recommendations.

What a wonderful little gem in the historic centre of Quito – it’s rare to find places like this today. Casa El Edén is a beautifully restored colonial townhouse with a lovely patio and a small rooftop terrace.

Señor Mario and Señora Blanca are incredibly warm and welcoming hosts, making you feel at home from the first moment.

The location is perfect, with many sights within easy walking distance, and we felt safe at all times. A reliable airport transfer can also be arranged.

Beautifully and lovingly restored 120 year old house with very big bedrooms and quality 7 foot wide comfortable bed with soft pillows. Nothing to fault.
The owner Mario and his wife_Blanca were very welcoming and friendly.
