Great location but a shame about the room.
Pros:

The location is perfect and the street was very quiet and away from the main entrance road. It was very accessible for the metro and close to the main tourist attractions. Lots of lovely boutiques close by. The room was regularly cleaned.

Cons:

It was a very special visit for my 60th birthday and my elderly mother’s first visit to Paris. The room we were allocated was at the back of the hotel, a small double bed with no side table on my side of the bed. I asked for a lower ground room as my mother cannot climb stairs as she is 79. I am was told that it’s okay for us to be on the 4th floor as there is a lift. Unfortunately, the lift was out of service on the second day of our stay. On the 4th day, the lift broke down so my mother had to struggle up 4 flights of stairs. The night reception manager was very helpful and he assisted my mother with the stairs. The next day (our final night), we were moved to a larger room on the first floor which was much more suitable and we would have preferred this room at the start of our holiday. Whilst I appreciate the hotel was busy during the Easter weekend, the undue stress caused did somewhat ruin our stay.

Super für einen Kurztrip nach Paris.
Pros:

Super Lage, nettes Personal und süße Zimmer.

Cons:

Es ist sehr hellhörig, sowohl nach draußen, als auch zu den anderen Zimmern. Aber so ist das eben in einem älteren Gebäude, dafür ist es wunderschön.

Locatie is echt heel goed. Midden in de Marais en vlak bij metro. Bed en douche heel goed.

Cons:

Personeel was niet heel vriendelijk en je kreeg geen warm welkom. Kamer op eerste verdieping was best gehorig. Je hoort duidelijk de straat.

Well-maintained hotel in an excellent location.
Pros:

We really enjoyed our stay. Excellent location, and though small, the rooms are comfy, well-maintained, and very clean. Staff was very welcoming and very professional. For anyone looking for hotel options in the 3-star category, Hotel Malher is a very solid choice in the Marais neighbourhood. We would definitely stay there again if there is availability on our future visits to Paris.
