Alfa Hotel

This is our second time staying at the Alfa Hotel.
The room is cozy, air conditioning, mini-fridge, TV, hairdryer, Wi-Fi, hot water - everything is there. You can ask for an iron.
Families with and without children stay here - that's why we choose this hotel.
The staff is friendly, they help with choosing routes around the city, answer all questions that arise.
What is also important - we slept peacefully at night, there is no noise from the street, music, construction sites, etc.
The location is very convenient - there is a tram and bus stop in 2 minutes, and the metro is 10 minutes away. Lots of markets nearby and countless cafes and restaurants.
The sheets and towels are clean.
Sultanahmet Square is 3-4 tram/bus stops away (about 10 minutes).

Room was cold. I travelled in Winter and the room was cold. I spent all my day outside in cold and rain and even when I got back to my hotel, the room was cold and shower water was cold too.

safe box did not work and they could not replace it on time.

at first room was clean. I stayed there for 5 days, in between when I asked for cleaning, they did a poor job.

save your money this is a 2 star hotel no more than $15.00 per day, small room terrible lighting, water don't drain, location not good, hotel is not as you see in the pictures. you have to carry luggage second floor. elevator only for one person. very low lighting, poor breakfast

2 star hotel charges 5 star fee , don't get fooled by pictures, it is not what you see Horrible hotel, poor location, poor breakfast, you have to carry your luggage to second floor stairs, elevator is in second floor maximum 2 person without luggage, very low lighting they use 10amp light bulb, shower water don't drain all the way to your ankle, Travel agencies must remove 4 and 3 stars from their sites if they want to keep their clients. for the same price you can easy stay in real 5 star hotel.

Stay away don’t get fooled by pictures they list as 4 star charge as 5 star actually 2 star should be Maximim $18. Dollars per night, low lighting 15wat, you cant see much, shower clogged water all the way to ankle, i pad less price to real 5 star hotel, save your money, he writes his own reviews under different names for sure

We have visited Istanbul and reserved hotel for 3 night. Everything was very good. I can give 4 of 5 to the hotel. Room was clean and pretty good. Breakfast was good. Location, accessable to tram, metro and was excellent. Hotel manager was friendly and professional, economy hotel but everything was excellent. Only bad point, lady reception was proud!!!!!

La Wi-Fi avait des coupures importante sauf le salon, la chambre est simple mais mal entretenue ,entre autre, tapisserie en mauvaise état,la cuvette des WC hs impossible de l'utiliser.la tv est en langues turc, par contre les couloirs et accueillant. Sinon le je trouve l'hôtel un peu cher , bon séjours

This hotel is in a very dirty and unsafe neighborhood. The street Infront of the hotel is very narrow and crowded. The area is very unsafe and dirty. After we were checked in at the front desk, we went to the room. We were told that the room is none smoking which wasn’t true. Not only the room was smelled horrible, but it was also not cleaned too. There was nothing inside the bathroom. I mean no towels or other amenities. There was a supper dirty kettle on the table. When we informed the front desk, we were told that they have no room available until next day.
Next morning when we woke up, there was no drop of water in the bathroom, when we called the front desk, we were told that there is no water in the tire area so there’s nothing they could do. It was one of the worst experiences I had in Istanbul. Our reservation was for three nights but I had to leave without any refund for the next two nights that I have paid but didn’t stay there

my belongings were stolen in 10 minutes i left the room to the reception.. the front desk gave the key of my room to the service person who entered the room and took my accessories which contained a gold ring and a silver bracelet.. my friend entered the room and was shocked to find him in the room putting things in his pocket.. we made complaints to the front desks.. they all escaped.. the camera recorded his entrance to the room at 3 am in the morning..

As I visited this same hotel other 3 times in the past, I can make an objective comparison. Other times was impeccably clean, this time a subtle (yet remanent) cigarette smell was present in the room.
I remember this hotel has excellent breakfast. This time, due to Coronavirus, breakfast was cancelled.
TV with no signal, fortunately WIFI signal was excellent.
Also, the private parking worth a lot.
Essentially, a pleasant stay, but not extraordinary. I hope that next time, after the Coronavirus crisis will be gone, they will came back to provide the excellent services , as I know they can do

The staff dont speak English they have no idea who their guests are whats going on. Also people smoking everywhere with the hotel.

I went with my friend to Turkey and we booked a beautiful hotel called Alpha, everything is beautiful and pure, we wake up in the morning, and we have breakfast, very cool, I recommend to everyone who wants to go to Turkey I recommend to go to the Alpha Hotel, a nice reception Very highly, especially those working in the hotel are very cool - I especially recommend Cesar's friend

We stayed in this hotel for 7 nights, the breakfast was ok with different choice and two juices and tea and coffee. It has small elevator and the staff and reception were friendly and kind and helpful, it is near to Aksaray and it has good location, the cost was good and it's a school next to it but the sound did not annoy us.in conclusion it's a cost effective Hotel alfa best Hotel...

The area is centrally located and convenient to the main tourist attractions, which are easily accessible by tram. We booked a triple room which was tiny for a family. There's no space for luggage but we happened to be transiting overnight. Continental buffet breakfast was mainly eggs, cold cuts and vegetables. Sufficient for a transit hotel but definitely not for a longer stay.
