Pros:

I have little to add to recent reviews. Friendly staff, good breakfast (7-10am) and fully equipped rooms with air con. A short walk puts you into the historic centre where prices in the restaurants and even take-aways are on the high side. Use Uber not local taxis although the port with ferries to the islands is just a 15 min walk away. The return fare to Brač (Supetar) is €13 as a pedestrian on the car ferry and takes 50 mins. A great trip for the views and a walk around the town.

Pros:

Perfect location! 5 minute walk to the promenade and the Diocletian palace, 2 minutes to the bus stop. About 10 minutes to the parking from where a free bus is going to the Mall of Split. Numerous shops and restaurants are nearby. The personell is friendly and helpful. Breakfasts are good. Maybe not so many vegetables to pick from as I would prefer, mainly bread and sweets, but our stay was during low season, so it's understandable. Grilled vegetables in an omlet were a pleasant surprise.
And the most important thing that made me choose this hotel is free parking! Just around the corner and in the city center.

Cons:

I like to have a cup of tea in the evening, so I used the kettle several times. I recommend the hotel to clean it with lemon juice before new guests arrive to get rid of the natural sediment (calc) that comes with local water. It's not that hard to do, but a nice thing for your guests to experience perfect cleanliness. There were also some minor flaws that can be fixed before the high season starts, such as a lost instruction to the safe box and the door knob to the bathroom.
