It was a comfortable stay and staff were helpful and responsive when any issues were identified.
Pros:

The room was well appointed and spacious. Access to Foxtel was a bonus. The property was central and it was easy to get to the Gladstone Entertainment and Convention Centre.

Cons:

The air conditioning wasn't working until a technician came to fix it, at our request. One of the light bulbs in a bedside lamp wasn't working. The dishwasher wasn't working.

Spacious Room and Warm Hospitality
Pros:

We stayed one night at Oak Gladstone Grand Hotel and honestly had a great experience.
Right from the moment we arrived, the receptionist welcomed us warmly, and they gave us exactly what we had requested — a room with an ocean view.The room was very spacious, the bed was comfortable, and there were two large wardrobes for our clothes and luggage. It also had everything we needed: an iron, a big fridge and freezer, a washing machine and dryer, a dishwasher, microwave, and a two‑plate electric cooktop. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the essential utensils and pots, so we easily cooked our own meals and didn’t need to eat out at all.Overall, we had a very comfortable stay, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Cons:

The only downside for us was that the windows and the balcony door didn’t have insect screens. Since we’re both quite sensitive to mosquito bites, we couldn’t leave the doors or windows open, especially at night, to enjoy the fresh air.
