Disappointed in location
Pros:

Breakfast was nice! Staff was helpful and beach and chairs were nice!

Cons:

On booking.com. Searched for resort on coast and near downtown Split. And I would have thought "Hotel Split" would have actually been in Split and not a suburb called Podstrana which was 7 miles away from the heart of Split. It said 1.2 miles from downtown and it was not referring to Split but instead to the downtown of Podstrana. Very disappointing as cab fare was 50 EU each way!!! It was misleading

Super Lage als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in und rund um Split!
Pros:

Super Lage ! Direkt am Strand/Meer und die Bushaltestelle auch nur ein paar Meter entfernt
Zimmer waren sauber und in einem guten Zustand! Schöner Ausblick vom Balkon auf das Meer.
Frühstücksbuffet schlicht und klein aber für jeden etwas dabei.

Cons:

Leider konnte man die Klimaanlage nicht im Zimmer steuern sondern nur über die Rezeption.
20,00 € für den Parkplatz pro Nacht ist für Hotelgäste überteuert.
Auch schade ist, dass die Liegen am Strand für Hotelgäste nicht kostenlos sind. Jedoch immerhin für Hotelgäste nur der halbe Preis (10,00€)
Der Pool ist ganz in Ordnung, was jedoch schade ist, dass auf der Dachterrasse keine Sonnenschirme vorhanden sind. Während unserem Aufenthalt gab es auch keine Pool-/Strandbar.

Fantastic seafront view
Pros:

Location is right on the beach and our room had a fabulous view and balcony which we had booked especially and I’d recommend you do that. Clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly. Special shout out to the young man who seemed to put in a long shift and gave up his seat on the bus for me. If you leave via the beach exit and turn left you will arrive at a very nice marina with restaurants. Turn right and there are a few beach bars but not much food choice. A bit ‘less loved’. We ate at the Olive Garden and the food was lovely and the sunset view is amazing. The hotel seems quiet and seems to be missing a trick given its location. Would recommend if you’re ok to get a taxi or bus. But not walkable to Split. Breakfast was very nice.

Cons:

No additional facilities ie restaurant as far as we could see. A bit of a bus ride or taxi out if Split via a busy main road. Seemed to be a spa but not really advertised and not even sure if it was open. Roof pool is nice but no shade. We practically had it to ourself.

Härlig semestervistelse på Hotel Split
Pros:

Hotellet ligger vackert direkt vid den fina stranden. Bra frukost med trevlig personal. Rummet var fint och bekvämt med havsutsikt. Boendet motsvarade våra förväntningar. Fick hjälp med allt vi behövde.

Cons:

Hårt trafikerad väg utanför entrén. Begränsat med restauranger i närområdet. Poolen på takterrassen saknade stege. Hotellbaren vid stranden var anonym och osynlig.

Pros:

Es war alles super. Die Lage direkt am Strand, ein sehr modernes und tolles Hotel mit vielen liebevollen Details, gutes Frühstück, eine geniale Dachterrasse mit Pool (den man allerdings dank der tollen Lage gar nicht braucht). Wir bekamen ein kostenloses Zimmerupgrade, allerdings wäre auch das eigentlich gebuchte Zimmer toll gewesen. Jedes Zimmer hat herrlichen und unverbauten Meerblick. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Cons:

Wir waren noch etwas vor Saisonbeginn dort. Im Hotel gab es da (noch) keine Möglichkeit, am Abend etwas zu essen. Aber man fand an der Strandpromenade Möglichkeiten, keine Konoba, aber okay. In Zukunft wird im Haus unten ein gutes und unabhängiges Restaurant geöffnet haben.

Nice hotel but the parking costs and the standard facilities not being open mean I would look else where in the future.
Pros:

The room was of a high standard, with a lovely sea view.
Most of the staff were really nice and helpful and the breakfast was great.

Cons:

I could have saved £150 if I had booked the 2 night stay a few days before the stay rather than booking several months before. That really annoys me and in future I will check just before the end of the free cancellation period (48hours in this case) and rebook at the lower rate.

Also the bar was open but there were no bar staff and very little stock- in particular no white wine or Rose at all! The beach bar/restaurant was also closed. This was apparently because “the season” doesn’t start until mid June. This was end of May UK half term week! Fortunately there were bars along the beach that did open at lunch time and evenings but that just made the fact the hotel bar wasn’t open even more frustrating.
They charge the same rate and don’t warn you at all about the lack of facilities available if you stay out of “the season”.
The hotel is not walking distance to many bars and restaurants so you need a car. The hotel exploits this by charging €20/day for residents to park at the hotel!

Pros:

Wij hebben genoten.
Pros:

Wij waren al heel vroeg in de ochtend bij dit hotel aangekomen omdat wij de nachtferry van Ancona naar Split hadden genomen. Omdat wij met motoren onderweg zijn werd ons door het hotel van te voren toegezegd dat wij onze spullen mochten achterlaten en dan later konden inchecken. Maar bij aankomst deed de meneer bij de receptie erg zijn best om ons al eerder een kamer toe te wijzen, wat uiteindelijk ook lukte. De mogelijkheid was er waarschijnlijk omdat het nog vroeg in het seizoen was.
Het ontbijt is uitgebreid en de koffie goed. Barfaciliteiten en zwembad zijn uitstekend.
Wij hebben ook gebruik gemaakt van de wasservice. Alle kleding kwam de volgende dag keurig en zelfs gestreken en opgehangen in de kast terug, Klasse👍

Cons:

Misschien lag het aan het tijdstip van de seizoen maar beneden bij het strand was de bar niet open en oogde wat ongezellig.
