Good hotel if you are looking for somewhere cheap to stay, there is a few maintenance issues such as broken door glass and aircon not working in the room, The breakfast is not great, i avoided anything that’s not covered as there were a lot of flies on and around the food and staff were not concerned, the lack of hygiene ment that i only had a tea in the mornings and ate out most of the time i was there, the major disappointment for me was when the hotel tried to charge me extra for fresh towels, which they normally change daily but then stated to skip a day.. once a little extra was left aside the towels were changed daily and the room was cleaned properly. i did inform management but they said that they would look into it.. but nothing came of it. overall it’s a cheap hotel for a reason, there’s better out there for the money and given the choice i would look else where
The accommodation was brilliant exactly as shown on the website , the staff were very cheerful and helpful and the breakfast was equally good.No issues with WiFi and daily room was. Very good! Overall, a very good stay!
The property was advertised with the wrong pictures,it’s not a hotels it’s a big house with one floor. When I asked the front desk why they you posted wrong pictures on the Expedia, he did not give proper explanation and they have another location and I asked why did not you guy send me there and I asked the other location he told me that it’s behind the building I asked him to show to me he did not show, and I asked another lady she told me that they had different location but they had closed other location and ask Expedia to get a refund. My humble request it to you remove the property out from your website and if u have any local rep send him/her to the property to check it. Is there any way to get refund from you guys.
Nice Small hotel with friendly staff. Biggest challenge is the wifi, which logs you off all the time, so that you have to re-enter full password 20 times a day. Apart from that, a very nice hotel that I will be coming back to.
Nice little hotel. Friendly atmosphere, good size roms. Not very modern, but nice. Only problem was the wifi which keeps logging off and has to be logged into again and again.
Cool place
It felt like coming “home”. Well furnished and stunningly detailed decor. The staff and outdoor garden were exceptional. It will be our first choice when returning to Dar Es Salaam. Asante Sana from ‘Canada’
Merry Christmas
Hyggelig og hjelpsom betjening, enkel innsjekking. Relativt store rom, brukbar standard i forhold til pris. Noe mangelfull frokost, men betjeningen gjorde sitt beste.
The staff was friendly and very helpful and a credit to the place. However, the property is old and poorly maintained; I had breakfast with a few other guests and this was the general complaint from all.
Staff helpful but very run down hotel.
호텔내 부대시설이 부족하여 답답한 느낌 입니다.
직원들은 친절 하였으며 쉬기에는 편안한 느낌이었습니다.
Very nice hotel and very nice staff. I have seldom experienced such nice and friendly staff ever.
the hotel location is not in a nice place, the building is one floor with garden i think it was a house, the room is large but not well furnished, the bed is good
Trevlig litet hotell på en relativt lugn bakgata. Luktade fuktigt/mögel i hotellbyggnaden men rummen var luktfria. Vänlig personal, rent och ganska gemytligt. Ingen direkt hög standart
Positive: Staff very friendly, knowledgable, and ready to accommodate.
Restaurant food was good.
Negative: Hallway carpeting had a strong, unpleasant odor.Traveling couples room had leaky a.c.
This is a lovely little hotel, with staff that aims to please. The rooms are large, clean, include free wifi, a "no alcohol" mini bar, large desk and armoire. The beds are on the firm side. AC works great. I will stay here again.
The Amariah Boutique Hotel Mikocheni is highly recommendable, if you want a hotel outside the busy city centre. The service and the standard of the room was impeccable. The staff go out of their way to mak you feel welcome. There is a nice patio and garden to sit and relax in. The neighbourhood is nice and quiet as far as neighbourhoods go in african capitals. Most people will probably prefer to take either a taxi or a bajaji to their destinations outside of the hotel, but it is a safe enough neighbourhood to walk around in. To get to The Slipway it takes about 10 minutes in a bajaji. I would definitely stay here again.
